🇮🇹 What to Eat in Italy 🍴 (Milan Edition)

I’ve been to Italy three times now, and this time I didn’t just eat gelato — I seriously documented every meal and ticked off all the Italian dishes I’d been craving! So here’s 「What I Ate in Milan」— come see all the delicious stuff I tried 👇 📍 Osteria Nanin Napo Torriani Skipped the hyped spots and picked this authentic Italian restaurant. The owner was super friendly and even gifted us a bottle of water as a welcome! 🫕 Osso Buco alla Milanese A Milan specialty I’d been dreaming of — and it did NOT disappoint! Strong saffron aroma, perfectly cooked rice, rich sauce, and fall-off-the-bone beef with marrow. Highly recommend! 🍝 Seafood Pasta There was more seafood than pasta — generous portions and amazing variety. The sauce was so good we unanimously voted it the best dish. We even used bread to wipe the plate clean! 🥩 Sirloin Steak with Potatoes Tender, perfectly cooked, well-seasoned. The potatoes were a bit plain, but perfect for dipping in the seafood pasta sauce 😉 🥩 Milanese Schnitzel Crispy outside, juicy inside — not dry at all. The mayo was a game-changer. The side salad was fresh and balanced everything. << Way better than the schnitzel I had in Austria! >> 📍 San Giorgio Ristorante A viral Xiaohongshu spot — wasn’t planning to go, but the pistachio pasta looked too good to miss! Super close to Milano Centrale — perfect for a meal before catching a train. 🍝 Pistachio Pasta Unexpectedly AMAZING — my top 1 pasta this trip! Sweet pistachio sauce + creamy burrata + salty ham = perfection. 🫕 Seafood Risotto Packed with seafood. The rice was slightly al dente but still delicious. 🍕 Heart-Shaped Pizza Cute for photos, but pretty average taste-wise. ✨ P.S. The owner was lovely — when we said we were catching a train, he sped up our order! 📍 Le Chalet Saw many Chinese foodies reviewing this place — had to try it! 🍝 Asparagus & Shrimp Pasta Wide noodles + juicy shrimp + fresh asparagus. The creamy egg sauce was so smooth and very Chinese-friendly. 🥩 Fillet Steak Went for medium-rare — tender and perfectly grilled. Seasoned simply with black pepper, salt, and rosemary — surprisingly flavorful! At the end, the owner treated us to lemon sorbet — sweet & tangy 💛 #MilanFood #Italy #TravelItaly #MilanEats #UKStudent #StudyAbroadLife #Pasta #StudentEats #Foodie
