We had one of the most memorable and delightful dinners in Milan at this restaurant. Although at first glance it seemed small, discreet, and tucked away, we decided to give it a try after discovering it through a popular TikTok in our country. Without a doubt, it turned out to be one of the best choices we made during our stay. The food was simply outstanding. The pizza impressed us with its authentic flavor and perfectly balanced ingredients, while the pistachio dessert was absolutely incredible — a true revelation and a must-try for anyone visiting. Every dish was prepared with care and passion, something that you can taste in every bite, both in flavor and in presentation. What truly made the experience unforgettable, however, was the hospitality of the staff. We were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine attention, and the overall atmosphere was so friendly and inviting that it instantly made us feel at home. We even had a small incident — we forgot a handbag at the restaurant — and the team showed a level of kindness that is hard to come by: they stayed after closing hours just to wait for us and make sure we could retrieve it. This thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression on us and confirmed that this place is much more than just a restaurant. It is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Milan — a place we will certainly return to, not only for the amazing food, but also for the genuine hospitality and warmth of the people. For Americans, pictures this scenario. The smell of fresh olive oil and basil blankets your nose as you and your S.O. walk under the grapevine-ridden patio arbor of the most authentic Italian restaurant in your hometown. You've saved big for this, it's America after all. The carbonara is rich. The caprese fumes pungent aromas of a garden. The pinot noir reminds you of the finest French white oak barrels.

Now throw yourself in my shoes at San Giorgio in Milan. A heart shaped "stravanganti" pizza enough to feed a family of 3 is 12 bucks. The finest noodles for 13. The food and service? Incomparable. You could frequent this restuarant 4 times before it adds up to the total of your hometown hook-up for quadruple the quality.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food and service were nothing short of amazing.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. One of the highlights for us was the warm welcome extended to our dogs, making it a truly family-friendly establishment.
