After a long wait of 52 years, Palazzo Citterio in Milan officially opened to the public on December 8, 2024. This marks the realization of the "Grande Brera" project, offering art enthusiasts and visitors a brand-new space for modern and contemporary art exhibitions. 🎉 🏛️About the Art Museum Built in the 18th century, Palazzo Citterio is located in the heart of Milan's Brera district, next to the renowned Pinacoteca di Brera. Following its reopening, Palazzo Citterio has become the modern art exhibition area of the Pinacoteca di Brera, showcasing significant artworks from the 20th century. The restoration and interior design were completed by the prestigious Mario Cucinella Architects studio, blending historical and modern elements to provide a unique exhibition experience for visitors. 🏰 🏛️Exhibitions and Artists The inaugural exhibition at Palazzo Citterio brings together two major collections: Jesi and Vitali, presenting over 200 artworks from the first half of the 20th century.
