Milan | A Family Restaurant Locals Keep to Themselves 🍴
Our design director introduced this restaurant to us; otherwise, we would have almost missed out on such a delicious family restaurant. A big thank you to Davide ❤️ for taking me to his regular spot, but he suddenly didn't feel well, so I ended up going with other colleagues. There were three of us, and since we were unfamiliar with the place, we played it safe with Pizza and Pasta. Before the meal, they serve bread 🥯 with a basil sauce that's absolutely delicious! First up was the Carbonara Pasta, which was out-of-this-world good. Perhaps it's because I've developed a Milanese stomach, but this pasta hit the spot. The egg yolk wasn't fishy at all, and it had a perfect savory flavor—this kind of pasta needs to be salty to be truly tasty. The pizza was Margherita style, crispy and fragrant, baked just right, with a surprisingly non-greasy sauce. It's not an exaggeration to say that after eating the pasta and pizza here, you'll know what authenticity means. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the people at the neighboring tables were all locals. Although the tables were quite close together, everyone was polite and considerate. A little stressful was that the waiter seemed a bit impatient when we were ordering, maybe because they're not used to tourists 😂 or perhaps they were worried we wouldn't like it. The waiters were very familiar with the regular customers. The location was also quite convenient, with a tram stop right outside the door. I genuinely give it a five-star recommendation!! #Milan #MilanFood #MilanFoodRecommendations #MilanExplore #LocalRecommendations #ItalianRestaurant #MilanRestaurantRecommendations #Food #BabyFood
