Milan | Affordable and Delicious Italian Cuisine
🍷 Lambrusco, which was mass-imported into the US during the 70s and 80s, gained a reputation for being a cheap, sweet, and fizzy wine. However, this doesn't affect the locals' love for it in Italy. Originally from the northeastern region of Tuscany, I learned for the first time that traditional Lambrusco is meant to be enjoyed from a bowl, which suits the character of this wine perfectly 😛. This restaurant offers a variety of options. The first bottle, Marcello, is sweeter and more fruity, continuing the traditional Emilia-Romagna region's brewing method. The second bottle is drier with less sugar, and it pairs well with various foods. Both are highly recommended. 🍝 Speaking of food, this place serves northern Italian cuisine from Parma, focusing on affordable, home-style, and delicious dishes! The Prosciutto di Parma I ordered blindly was very impressive. I usually don't like cured meat, but I could finish an entire plate of this, with just the right balance of saltiness and a rich meaty flavor without any overly processed strange tastes. The Lasagna is so good you can't stop eating it, with the perfect ratio of cheese and meat sauce, and the pasta itself is very chewy, not greasy at all, to the point where you'll drool just looking at the photo 🤤. 🍕 Panfocaccia is highly recommended! I ordered the "Duca," which comes with Parma ham and cheese, feeling like another form of Salami Pizza 😂. The crust itself has a wheat aroma and elasticity, and it pairs perfectly with the not overly strong-flavored ham and cheese. Tiramisu is also a must-order, not too sweet, the people of Milan are truly blessed 😭. #Italy #ItalianFood #Europe #Milan #MilanRestaurant #MilanLife #MilanFood #MilanExplore #MilanFun
