I have been here about five times now and I loved this place, amazing food (really!) for an very good price. I always had an issue with the staff though, they are always rushing and I think they get many tourists because of the area so I think they don’t have much patience. I speak italian and live in Milan but I can assure that does not make a difference for the treatment you will get.

I loved this place and came back many times as I said and ehen my boyfriend came to visit me I sure wantrd to take him here, unfortunately it was the worst experience I had and I dont want to come back after that. To begin with they always give pastes to eat with bread and a few of the times I have been they “forgot”to bring it to my table which is already annoying and I had to request it. last time I have been (May) I asked for olive oil and salt as I always do in any restaurant including there and the waitress straight told me “No” and walked away. I am not kidding I was surprised I never had amazing service there but this was laughable. Then I asked the other waitress and she said” sorry olive oil is only if you order a salad” and then I said that I had been thete many times and no one ever declined me olive oil (and no where else really) and I explained I wanted to eat my bread and dish with olive oil and she just turned away and left as well. Last time I was twoo weeks before and I never heard any of that. Then I just accepted ate my food and the pasta my boyfriend ordered (I reccommended cause I had it before) it came with HAIR!! There was a small one to the side and I told him to return but he said “is okay is small looks like a lash” then he gave two bites and there a good 5cm long hair underneath the pasta… we told thst to the waitress she took it and brought another one , didnt say Im sorry or anytging, didnt even look at us. truly disgusting and awful experience which is sad cause I dont know what happened but this time was...

DO NOT COME HERE, PLEASE! It saddens me to write this review as I typically never leave negative comments but after the way, we were treated in this restaurant today I feel I must warn others not to eat here at any cost. The staff was so incredibly disrespectful. They were practically throwing our food and utensils on the table. We were told there would be a wait for the table and when we returned and asked if the table was ready, the man at the counter, simply pointed to a table. He did not look at us or make an effort to communicate with us. The waitresses were all disrespectful, completely ignoring us, and when asked if they could provide us with utensils or oil for the bread, they seemed annoyed, and then turned around and began to speak about us in front of us. The food was ok but evident that the pasta had been heated up in a microwave. Despite the food which truly made this experience awful was the way that we were treated, and it was evident that other customers were feeling the same way. at one point, they needed to make more room and they picked up our table and began pushing it without even asking us. I am extremely disappointed as this is one of the only days we will be spending in Milan and we were really looking forward to enjoying this meal, but I felt the need to write this review because I’ve seen many positive ones that are not depicting this place as...

I don't give negative reviews because everyone can have a bad day, but insensitivity and lack of recognition in this business can't happen...

As a first course, we started with the delicious and fresh “Tortelli al tartufo” and the “Tagliatelle al ragú”, which, despite being a house specialty, it is light years away to any other I've had in Emilia-Romagna. The first courses were served very quickly but we waited over an hour for the second ones. We asked a waiter for our food and only after we had asked for the second did the food finally come, and in less than 5 minutes. The “Guancialini di maiale” was very good and tender, but the “Suprema di pollo” was uncombustible. The outside was extremely hot and the inside extremely cold, clearly the result of a quick heating in the microwave.

Although we showed our displeasure in a calm manner at the end, we were given a series of excuses without ever acknowledging the kitchen's mistake and the poor and unbelievable service when we were completely forgotten. The tables next to us were filled up twice within this 2 long hours. Finally the chicken “ice cream” was put on the bill. Absolutely...

Patient and remarkably gracious staff — we waltzed in without so much as a reservation, and though the place was buzzing like a Milanese espresso bar at dawn, they still found a way to seat us. The atmosphere was charmingly warm, with decorations that whispered, “you are somewhere chic, but please do relax.” They began by presenting two dainty bowls: one of cheese, one of a rustic Italian sauce, served with bread — a very civilized prelude. For wine, they took us by surprise, pouring it into bowls instead of glasses, which I learned is a northern Italian flourish. At first I thought I was in the wrong century, but it felt delightfully bohemian. I indulged in gnocchi di patate with pesto, which was nothing short of heavenly. To finish, I heroically embarked on tiramisu, an experience that truly completed me for the evening. All in all, a marvelous spot — highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a little flair, a lot of flavor, and perhaps the whimsical novelty of sipping wine from a bowl.

This place is fantastic. We ordered the caprese with mozzarella (sadly they were out of burrata), guanciale with polenta, ravioli with three different fillings, and a panna cotta. The ravioli was probably the best I've ever had and my partner had a spiritual experience eating the guanciale. The panna cotta was light and delicious too. The lambrusco (sparkling red wine) was excellent and as others here have mentioned, fun to drink from a bowl. There was no lineup when we showed up at around 7pm though it gets busier later into the evening. Overall it was great value and probably one of our favourite meals from this trip!
