Milan Restaurant Exploration: Il Mannarino 🥩
This place feels like a casual eatery where you can pick your items from the fridge and send them to the kitchen for cooking. It looks pretty good, and it’s actually a chain restaurant—hahaha! I came here specifically for the mashed potatoes, which are indeed rich and creamy, but a bit on the salty side. I ordered a small portion of steak—it's the pricier, tender cut, and it was delicious! (We had just eaten two other types of steak the day before, so I didn’t want to repeat the same one 😂 hahaha!) We also ordered a small chicken leg, which smelled incredible—hahaha! But please, whatever you do, do NOT order the meatballs; they were absolutely horrible and had a strong gamey taste. Apart from the black meatballs recommended by the staff, which were decent, just stay away from the bone marrow. Trust me! (I tried it anyway, despite my better judgment—hahaha!) The cheese appetizer was pretty good, and the complimentary ragu and bread were tasty too. As for the tiramisu, it was a bit disappointing; it was too soggy for my taste. After the meal, they offered us three small bottles of digestive liquor. I can’t handle it, so I just took a sip.
