Milan Restaurant Recommendation | Emoraya 🍽️✨
It has been raining a lot in Milan lately ☔️. I wonder what the weather is like where you are? My friend and I were wandering around Chinatown 🚶🏼♀️➡️, enjoying a gentle breeze, when suddenly it started pouring rain 🌧️. Being the forgetful people we are, we always leave our umbrellas at home, so we had to pause our shopping trip 🥲. Since it was almost mealtime and following the principle that “we live to eat,” we decided to choose a restaurant randomly, just like a surprise box! 🫠 ⬇️ Anguilla Grigliata Sopra Il Riso Cotto Eel served three ways: you can eat it directly (it's sweet and delicious), dip it in wasabi (I personally don't like wasabi, so I skipped that), or have it in soup (the white pot 🍶 contains a rich fish broth that tastes amazing 🐟. When it's cold outside, having it with the soup is quite warming! ✅). The entire dish is subtly sweet and pairs well with rice—definitely not greasy at all. ⬇️ Kaisendon Marinated raw fish mixed together, primarily featuring salmon 🍣. The taste is incredibly refreshing, and if you love salmon, you must try this dish! 😍 We also had mashed potatoes and octopus legs 🐙, but these were daily specials and might not be available every day. I heard this place serves set meals for lunch, so we’ll definitely try that next time 🤔. The overall flavor profile of this restaurant is on the lighter, sweeter side, making it especially suitable for friends who prefer milder tastes. The diners 🍽️ seem to be either on dates or sophisticated white-collar workers gathering after work, while my friend and I awkwardly barged in all soaked from the rain 🤣. Also, this restaurant accepts walk-ins, but if you want a good seat, it’s better to call ahead to reserve 📞. Average cost per person ✅: €40–50 #ItalianLife #Europe #Milan
