I have recommended Emoraya by my Japanese friend! I have to say this is one of my best experience in Milan! First the ambiance is perfect Japanese modern minimalism style with beige and white. 💆🏻♀️💆🏻♀️💆🏻♀️The customized chairs and tables blend in the making you feel calm the relax at the first glance. Second, the service and staff are very tentative. 👍👍I am very sorry that I didn’t get their names but they pay attention to details and explain the dishes very well especially for those who tried the bentos or lunch set the first time about what to eat first and later. My italian family are very happy about it! I have ordered the grilled eel lunch set. Siamo arrivati al ristorante alle 19:29 e abbiamo trovato che non c’erano altri clienti. Tuttavia, il personale ci ha detto che non ci avrebbero accettato perché non avevamo una prenotazione. Capisco che alcuni ristoranti richiedono una prenotazione, ma un rifiuto del genere sembra irragionevole quando non ci sono altri clienti.

Tonight we had a very unpleasant experience at Emoraya. According to the opening hours, the restaurant should open at 7:30 PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:29 PM and found that there were no other customers. However, the staff told us that they would not accept us because we didn’t have a reservation. We understand that some restaurants require reservations, but such a refusal seems unreasonable when there are no other customers.
We then asked if we could order takeout, but the staff also refused our request without hesitation. This kind of service attitude and handling method left us very disappointed. As consumers, we were expecting a pleasant dining experience but encountered such cold and unprofessional service instead. We hope that Emoraya can improve their service process and attitude to prevent other customers from encountering similar issues

Starting from the booking process you can understand that the team is succeeding in doing a great job. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised to find some beautiful flowers on our table, ready to be taken away. The team is lovely, the location is extremely clean and beautiful, but the true star is the food. Everything we ate was extremely well prepared. The quality’s of the ingredients is extremely high - we had a great time. We’ve been offered dessert, which was so unexpected. Both desserts were absolutely perfect, we loved them.
