Must-Try Greek Restaurants❗️❗️ Foodies, this is for you!
🏛️ Athens 📍 My Plate Hidden gem recommended by our Airbnb host! 🏠 Not fancy but serves TOP 3 Gyros of our trip—juicy chicken, so flavorful! 📍 Το Στέκι Του Ηλία (To Steki Tou Ilia) Local-approved spot 🐑 Grilled lamb chops + Greek salad = perfection. Packed with Greeks—always a good sign! 📍 Karamanlidika Found it on Xiaohongshu—did NOT disappoint! 📖 Delicious & affordable. 📍 Φ Bar Great vibes, music & cocktails 🍸 Perfect for a chill night out. 🏝️ Milos Island 📍 Aktaion Pizza Bar Burger = 😍 | "Auflauf" (baked dish) = 😅 (too heavy). 📍 Marianna Restaurant Seafood heaven! 🦑 Fried squid = crispy & fresh. ❗ Aggeliki Ice Cream Shop Ice cream = meh 🍦 But pancakes & waffles = 👍 (go easy on toppings—super sweet!). 📍 Gyros of Milos Paper-wrapped Gyros for two 📦 Not as good as Athens but budget-friendly. 🌅 Santorini 📍 Salt & Pepper (Fira) Xiaohongshu fame—WORTH IT! ❤️ Sweet owner gave free appetizers + dessert + took photos for us. Must-order: Fisherman’s Meal (loaded with seafood) + tomato balls. 📍 MeRaki (Fira) Homey & affordable 🏡 Mustard chicken + tomato balls + "fried sandwich" = solid! 📍 Volkan on the Rocks (Fira) Brunch with a view! 🥞 Pancakes + coffee = perfect start. 📍 Ambrosia (Oia) Fancy seaside dining 🌊 Grilled squid + pasta = good, but you’re paying for the insta-worthy sunset. ⚠️ WARNING Beware of pushy restaurants! 🚨 In Santorini, one place lured us in with "special deals," but the menu prices were inflated (e.g., €15 for a €8 Gyros). Later found out they give locals vs. tourists different menus—especially targeting Asians. Always check Google reviews first! #GreeceTravel #FoodieFinds #GreekEats #SantoriniTips #AvoidScams
