Book a reservation with high hopes based on reviews and a recommendation. If I could have given this a zero I would have. 1) to order a glass of wine be expecting to wait a good 20 minutes as you will have to wave a server down if you want to refill. 2) They just straight up forgot our dinner. After we ordered our food, they served us appetizers and then gave us desert after waiting over 1.25 hours for our main entrees to come. When we politely asked them if our entrees were still coming they said yes and apologized stating that the food service ticket had “gotten lost.” 3)they then rush our food out to try and make up for it. My pregnant wife got served way undercooked sausage when we specifically told them she was pregnant and could not eat raw meat. 4) My wife and I decided eating the raw sausage was not worth the risk so we then politely asked to have them remove this from our bill. Our waitress said absolutely and then brought us the bill, we paid, and then handed us the receipt (which showed she never removed the entire from the bill). She straight up lied to us. At this point, the dinner was completely ruined and I asked to talk to a manager to get the bill corrected. The manager was aware of our major delay of getting the food and apologized. She did fix the bill by removing the sausage entree (11 euro) but did nothing else. We paid full price and had to go to another restaurant after the terrible experience simply to get full. I read google reviews before I book a restaurant and if you are reading this, I would highly recommend you look for a different restaurant. Terrible service and completely disorganized. Did very little to...

Since the 1960s, the Theodoropoulos family has been operating the old pastourma factory under the name "Arapian", continuing the tradition. Thus, the small shop at 41 Evripidou Street becomes a reference point for its pastourma and soutzouki, gaining a stable and loyal clientele. The family business cultivates the relationship with customers and builds its reputation daily, offering fine foods, such as cheeses, cold cuts, and smoked meats. The specialization in ripening products leads to new collaborations, such as with the Sary cold-cut workshops in Drama, highlighting the authentic Karamanli products. Thanks to the experience of over sixty years and the healthy business activity, the company evolves timeless flavors and creates new ones. Under our own guidance, in collaboration with selected Greek producers from every corner of Greece, observing and testing, we improve and recommend delicious products, taking care of our customers' table. Read moreTa Karamanlidika tou Fani is a deli and restaurant featuring hard-to-find dishes from the cuisine of Greek Turks who moved to Athens from Anatolia. The dishes here indeed featured a more Turkish bend, incorporating spices not found in other regional Greek cuisines. We were started with a complimentary sample of freshly-sliced beef pastrami and cubes of cheese from the deli. We then had the Greek Salad, which included the traditional components of cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and olives, but was topped with a salty, dry, grated manouli Kasou cheese, boiled wild greens, and a balsamic tangerine vinaigrette. This Greek salad with a twist had a stronger flavor profile than a traditional Horiatiki, thanks to the umami of the cheese and the sweet and tangy dressing. Next, we had the Karamanlidika chickpeas with Pastirma, a stew of chickpeas with tomatoes topped with slices of beef pastirma. The chickpea stew was unlike any other I’ve tasted before and had a delicious combination of flavors from the sweet spices and smoky pastirma. Finally, we had the Karamanlidika Meatballs served over tomato sauce, topped with smoked eggplant cream & salty anevato cheese, and served with fried potatoes and pita bread slices. The crumbly meatballs went perfectly with the heavily spiced tomato sauce, which was offset by the eggplant and cheese creams. Everything we had was perfectly spiced and balanced and came at a great value. At the end of our meal, we were brought a complimentary dessert of Greek yogurt topped with sweetened shredded carrots, making for a sweet end to a...
