Must-Visit Park by Lake Maggiore in Milan! π ποΈ
π ΏοΈ Right across from the park is a free parking lot. It gets really crowded on weekends, but we were lucky to find the last two spots just before lunch. π½οΈπ π The nearest train station is Stresa, which is a 24-minute walk to the park. The entire walk is scenic, so it won't feel long at all! π³πΌ π« Ticket Prices: Adults (15 years and older): β¬14.5 Ages 6-15: β¬9.5 Ages 3-6: β¬4.5 π§Ί If you're bringing kids, I recommend packing your own food! There are picnic tables and you can also lay down picnic mats on the big lawn across from the main garden. I didn't see any restaurants in the park, but there is a cafΓ©. π₯ͺβοΈ π The farm animal area has friendly sheep, deer, llamas, and rabbits that aren't afraid of people and are happy to interact. The little deer are just too cute! π¦π You'll also find a few peacocks strutting around the park, acting like living models! π¦β¨ There are about 50 different animals and bird species throughout the park. πͺ» The main garden has a bit of a trendy vibe, with many people taking beautiful photos everywhere. The scenery is picture-perfect! If you have the time, I recommend visiting on a weekday when there are fewer crowds. πΈπΈ π Thereβs an outdoor play area for kids worth checking out! After leaving the park, youβll find many activities along the lake, making it a full day of beautiful photo ops. ππ #BreatheDeepInNature #Nature #Park #FunTimes #Italy #ItalianLife #MilanArea #LakeDistrict #LakeMaggiore #FamilyFun #MilanFamilyOuting
