Recommend This Authentic 48-Year-Old Restaurant Near Milan Duomo!
❤️Having lived in Milan for years, this restaurant was chosen for a friend gathering. Normally, I’m indifferent to the restaurants around the Duomo because they often feel catered to tourists. But my friend shared that this is a traditional Italian spot with 48 years of history 🍴. The original owner passed away last year, but the head chef and staff are still there, keeping the authentic Italian flavors alive. ❤️The Milanese fried pork cutlet was hands-down the best I’ve ever had in Milan! Tender and perfectly crispy, with rice that’s so flavorful. The steak is a must-try – perfectly seared outside, juicy and tender inside. I’ve never been big on Milanese meat dumplings, but I tried one with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised! Sometimes, being open to new flavors pays off – don’t miss out! ❤️The octopus and potato salad was delicious, and I have to highlight their homemade chili sauce – it’s incredible! Flavorful, spicy, and perfect to mix with pasta 🍜. We ordered a whole grilled fish that was deboned after roasting, which was nice, though I might try a simple fish fillet next time. ❤️Located just a 6-minute walk from the Duomo, this spot is a great value for authentic Italian food. Highly recommended for those in Milan! #HiddenGem #RestaurantRecommendation #ItalianCuisine #FoodGuide #MilanLife #Milan #MilanEats #MilanRestaurant #ItalianFood
