The Timeless Elegance of Villa Necchi Campiglio🤎
💚 Booking Information : Reserve your visit at villanecchicampiglio.it. 💚 Opening Hours : Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00-18:00 throughout the year (it's recommended to check the opening dates in advance, as there may be special exhibitions). ▪️ Hidden in the heart of Milan, this villa offers a glimpse into the old-money lifestyle of Italy in the 1930s. 🏡 ▪️ Designed by Italian architect Piero Portaluppi, the villa was owned by the Necchi and Campiglio families. In 2001, the last family member, Gigina, passed away and left the house to the FAI foundation for public access. It's definitely worth a visit! The villa also has a lovely café ☕️ where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere for an entire afternoon. ▪️ The interior layout, fixtures, and materials of the villa reflect the most advanced residential concepts in Europe at the time, and they still feel very modern today. The transitions between rooms, the placement of furniture, and the color schemes have all been meticulously planned, making the villa a massive work of art. 🎨 ▪️ The villa houses an impressive collection of artworks, with brocade walls, exquisite embroidery, gold decorations, marble, and wood carvings perfectly showcasing the styles of various artists, including Picasso, Fontana, Modigliani, and Matisse. #ArtExhibition #InteriorDesignInspiration #ArtisticHome #ArtAndSpace #VintageAesthetic #20thCenturyArt #LivingInTimelessStyle #MidcenturyFurniture #LuxuryHome #HiddenGemExhibition #FrenchAesthetic #AntiqueFurniture #DecorInspiration
