Villa Necchi Campiglio is a true hidden treasure in Milan, offering a glimpse into a world of timeless elegance and understated luxury. Nestled in a lush, peaceful garden, this architectural masterpiece is a stunning example of 1930s modernism, yet it feels incredibly warm and personal.

Every detail in the villa tells a story, from the refined furniture and exquisite art collection to the cutting-edge innovations for its time, like the first private heated swimming pool in Milan. Walking through the rooms, you can almost hear the whispers of glamorous parties and the footsteps of the Necchi family, who lived here. It’s more than a museum—it’s a journey back in time to an era of sophistication and taste.

What sets Villa Necchi apart is its ability to balance grandeur with intimacy. The tour guides bring the space to life with fascinating anecdotes about the family and the era, making the experience both educational and enchanting.

If you want to immerse yourself in Milan’s rich cultural heritage and take a break from the city's fast pace, Villa Necchi is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place that lingers in your mind long after you leave—a true gem that deserves to...

Wonderful place, but the tour guides need to take themselves less seriously. We were an international group with two tour guides. Most people spoke English and not Italian, but the Italian tour guide kept on getting super upset because the other tour guide was explaining stuff in English. I'm sorry but you should realize that your clients are here to learn and if they can't understand then it defeats the purpose of the tour (which they paid for, mind you). You should be more adaptive to your customer's needs as their visit is what is keeping your foundation alive.

As for the place itself, the villa was built for an aristocratic family. Fashion lovers will adore the extravagant closets and bedrooms of a highly...

A true hidden gem in the middle of the city. Just when I thought there was nothing more to see in Milano, this surprised me a lot. I finally had time to visit the villa, and wow, I took the guided tour that was a bit expensive but totally worth it. The house is absolutely amazing, the history the atmosphere and peace you fell being in the middle of the caos of Milano. The garden, increíble, with the pool the cafe and the old tennis court. The inside of the house telling stories! And the rational architecture of the house it self, it all just comes together in a perfect atmosphere! Our tour guide Ilaria just made whole visit perfect! Don’t miss out on this!

It was a good visit in Milan, but not an absolute must. There are so many more amazing art galleries and museums in the city so if you don't have so much time, you can skip this one. The original villa was built by a modern and simple style designer Portaluppi and later renovated by Tomaso Buzzi to a traditional classic style. You could clearly see the differences between those two designers in the Villa and I don't think they were harmonious together. The guided tour was interesting, yet the explanation could have be better. It would have been more useful if the guide taught us with at least one piece in each room in details of the design.
