What to Eat in Milan

Atmosphere and Creativity at Mu Dimsum๏ฝž For a small gathering with old friends, we chose Mu Dimsum, a Chinese Michelin restaurant in Milan (menu included), helmed by the chef, with authentic decor that's quite stylish. Upon entering, there's an open kitchen, a tea station, and walls lined with various types of tea. Honest food review ๐Ÿง๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Foie Gras Toast ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ A taste like ice cream foie gras, paired with yuzu zest on toasted, fragrant bread๏ฝžEach bite of the rich foie gras paste exudes the fragrance of yuzu fruit, writing this makes my mouth water๐Ÿคคโ€ฆ Tuna Tartare ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ A pretty good refreshing appetizer, sweet and sour without being greasy. Black Gold Char Siu Bao ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ With a black appearance and gold dusting, the steamed char siu bun has a rich aroma and a soft texture, but the filling is a bit too sweet and greasy. It's better to share among friends; ordering one each might be too much... Pan-Fried Char Siu Bao ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Compared to the Black Gold Char Siu Bao, the pan-fried version is much tastier, with a fluffy dough, a crispy bottom, and layers of flavor in each bite, a subtle sweetness mixed with the aroma of char siu๏ฝžAmazing! Of the two, I recommend this one. Honey Char Siu Fried Rice ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Overall too salty, with the taste of ordinary fried rice, but the rice is good and filling. Honey Char Siu ๐ŸŒŸ Dry and salty, it's at a level that shouldn't be expected at this price. Not recommended ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ. Charcoal Grilled Squab ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ A wonderful texture, like eating offal but with the fibrous feel of meat, crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside, paired with refreshing radish blocks, retaining Chinese seasoning combined with Western creative plating, a small but exquisite dish๏ฝžQuite unique, worth trying. Charcoal Grilled Beef ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Served with a slightly sour and salty mustard seed, the side is sweet potatoes. Perhaps there are too many good pan-fried steaks in Milan... After eating, there's no memorable point, but overall, it's not bad, nothing special. The overall dining environment and service are quite good, the dishes are not particularly outstanding but also not a big letdown. Friends with choice difficulties or those who like to eat alone can opt for the set menu. #MilanLife #ItalianFood #MilanRestaurantRecommendation #MilanCantoneseRestaurant #ItalianLife #WhatToEatWhenTraveling #HiddenGemRestaurants #AtmosphereRestaurant #Italy #Milan #RestaurantRecommendation #Eating #GlobalFoodAndDrinkSquad #MichelinRestaurantExploration #Cheers
