Where to go for the weekend in Milan? Lake Garda! ποΈ
π Lake Garda, or Lago di Garda, is the largest lake in Italy, located in the northern part of the country, stretching across the Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige regions. π΄ Lake Garda offers a plethora of outdoor activities, including swimming, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, and cycling. You can rent equipment from shops near the lake. π Transportation: If you're near Bolzano, Verona, or Trent, it's even closer (you can combine a visit to these cities). π A 2-hour drive from Milan (southern part of the lake). π Taking the train to Lake Garda (northern part of the lake). π My route was to take the train to Rovereto and then switch to BUS π B301 to reach Torbole Via Matteotti B. (If traveling round trip in a day, pay attention to the bus schedule). π Another route is to take the train to Mori and then transfer to Bus π B332/B301. (The first route is recommended as there are no train stations around the lake, and you need to take a Bus π to get there). The photo viewing platform is located halfway up the mountain. βοΈ It's not too far and well worth the visit. It's recommended to spend just one day here. If you're traveling from the north to the south of the lake without a car π, it's a bit far. #Italy #Milan #GardaLake #Bolzano #Trento #Verona #Rovereto
