Satay Jawi,LIKAS PLAZA — Restaurant in Sabah

Service & atmosphere are ok so far considering this is one of the restaurant I frequent to. Some people said it's noisy, well considering it's located next to the roundabout of one of the main road here in Likas, also situated at the busiest area where most people's favourite mamak and restaurants are, it is NOISY, understandable. Ppl honking at the roundabout, mat rempits ramming their motorcycle and stuff, lagi annoying. Also for ppl that are not used to this area, u might wanna avoid this area especially weekends. Also especially when there's big soccer match going on. This area is a hot spots for all ages. Hard to find parking at night on weekends. As for the foods, I'd say the chicken portion is kinda small for the rice dishes. I mainly come here for the goreng² & satay. Tried the other foods but only the goreng² & satay 'sticks' to the heart, uiseh. FRIES. 10 times or more I ordered fries, and for that many times juga the fries arrived 'lembik' - soft & mushy. Hello, just fry it longer, what's the problem? Sudahlah U guys let the fries thaw at room temperature where it gets soft, then fry & serve it soft juga. Oily somemore....

Terrible terrible terrible service. Even though the food was okay, I'd suggest to go somewhere else instead. I arrived and there was no customer around just the workers so it wasn't busy at that time. None of them bothered to take my order and they were all chit chatting among themselves (there were more than 5 staff). I had to go up to them to ask if they could take my order. While taking my order, the staff continued shouting across the room to continue chit chatting with their friends.

After taking my order, I asked for take out and asked if it was possible for them to send it to me at my car parked right outside the restaurant and the person said they could do it. So I waited in my car. For a LONG time. I then decided to go in to check on my order and approached the person (who was chit chatting with the other workers) and asked if my order is ready. Without saying anything, they just pouted their lips in the direction of a plastic bag left on the table. If I had known how bad the staff was, I would have never gone here. I'm not asking to be treated like royalty but respect goes both ways lah. Don't make your customers beg for...

Almost everything bout the shop is great. Its cold and look good but everytime I come and eat here the food are getting terrible. I usually chose to eat here every few weeks because of the atmosphere in the shop when I needed to do something in the area.

As far as I remember it started around early last year where the problem start. The food or the ingredients used seems old and started to sour.

From my experience the ABCs corn were spicy and sour, the green thing in the ABC smell funny. The rojak which is among my favourite food are getting sour. From the chicken used to the smell it produce you can tell it isnt fresh.

Its been years since the last time I couldn't finish a plate of food because of the food itself. I was still hungry when I left the shop.

The shop need to invest on its ingredients quality control might be better to change supplier or keep the ingredients in a better place. I have no idea bout this so they better start an internal investigation on their own.

But I'll still be going there as I love indoor restaurants and KK is hot aint not going anywhere...
