I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The food itself was extremely poor quality. I ordered the lamb and what I received was essentially just bone, fat, and gristle with almost nothing edible. This was accompanied by chips that were at least 50% cardboard. Everything else we tried was equally disappointing aside from the aqua frizzante and grilled cheese.
What really shocked me, though, was the service. The rude young waiter actually dropped our bread on the floor, then later returned it to us dusted off and toasted with a drizzle of oil as if nothing had happened. That is absolutely unacceptable in any restaurant.
To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, we paid in euros and the waiter deliberately miscalculated the conversion to try to overcharge us. He even argued with us about it until we pulled out Google’s live conversion rate to prove him wrong.
Between the terrible food, the shocking hygiene lapse, and the dishonest handling of the bill, I would strongly advise avoiding this...
Read moreWe had terrible experience. Dirty place with cruel crew. The restaurant is close to the bridge, while we were walking down the bridge we saw the little kitten outside the window of the restaurant, on the edge of windowsill. So we with other tourist ran to the restaurant to tell the waiter to save the baby cat.. he said that they put the kitten outside the window. The cat can jump to die… he refused to take him out. The restaurant is located above the river level around 100m, the shore is with stones and rocks.. so they decided to leave the cat there to die. The cat was screaming.. they had no reaction. Cruel people, do not support such business. Instead of giving the cat to the safe place, giving food or leftovers - they decided to kill him in a cruel way. Of course we forced to save it. Shame on you! Shame on such places. Do not support monsters.. We took...
Read moreWe wanted to eat a burger. The 15 year old with an attitude told us he had hamburgers for 300 lekes. We sat down, looked at the menu and could not see a burger. I showed him a picture of the burger and said ‘’cow meat, is that what you have?’’ He looked at us as if we were idiots for asking again and said Yes. Ok, so we ordered them. He showed up with a chicken burger (well a piece of chicken) in two buns with grilled veggies. I do mot eat chicken ever so we sent back saying we wanted hamburgers like the picture, with cow meat like we showed. He ended up saying ‘’excuse me, are you crazy?’’ - we paid for the wine, water and veggies. He was going around tables where Albanians were sitting and making fun of us while we waited for the bill. I had to go in to pay, he made us wait - i had calculated- there was just the price of wine missing - he didn’t...
