Kris Guest House — Hotel in Berat Municipality

We had a wonderful stay at KRIS Guesthouse in Berat. The location was magical right within the Castle walls and the guesthouse beautiful - fresh and clean. We booked the family suite and it was perfect for us - two adjoining rooms within a single apartment with a nice bathroom - and we made great use of the common terrace space right outside to read, play cards and hang out as a family after our days exploring this wonderful and historic city. The breakfasts were yummy and plentiful and the coffee delicious. It was our son’s 14th birthday the day we arrived and I felt the owner was approachable so I told him, and he went above and beyond by procuring a beautiful and delicious cake, complete with candles, and putting it in our mini-fridge upon arrival. The location is fantastic – after taking a taxi up the hill, you step out of the guesthouse and see the famous head sculpture, and in just two minutes you reach the church, which is a perfect spot for photos and enjoying the view.||The family running the place is incredibly kind. Aldi’s mom prepared us a delicious homemade breakfast every morning, and the atmosphere is truly friendly and welcoming. ||The terrace view is absolutely stunning, both during the day and in the evening.
