La Tapeta — Restaurant in Andorra la Vella

A tiny place on a narrow street at the top of the hill but a really enjoyable find and the ideal place to rest tired feet after a morning walking around the city. Sitting on one of the small number of tables or stools out the front gives a great atmosphere and is quite a sun trap, with the staff always on hand to bring additional drinks or serve the food. Drinks are really cheap and the food (which be browsed via the QR code) is served in large portions for equally good prices - the bowl of garlic prawns was a particular favourite of mine!

A hidden gem and somewhere I’d highly recommend and will be returning to as soon...

We went two days in a row. The first day we enjoyed the bravas, the fried chicken strips and special padrón peppers. The second day, we enjoyed the Spanish omelette, the chicken again (the dipping sauces are special) and the anchovies with boquerones. The music was nice, not too loud, the ambience was very chill, service friendly and professional, cañas poured with TLC, I'm sure everything you order is tasty! I hope to...

Experiencia terrible. Si podéis no vayáis. Nosotros fuimos por la reseñas y fatal. Tuvimos que ir a comer a otro sitio. Nos gusta comer de tapeo para compartir y probar un poco de todo. Allí las tapas no eran tapas, sino pinchos. Tampoco había opción a pedir nada más grande. Terrible. Pedimos tortilla española trufada por 8,50€. Tremenda fue nuestra sorpresa cuando nos ponen dos trocitos de tortilla con una especie de paté encima. Aún encima está malísima, era como las envasadas del súper. Los pinchos morunos de cordero 14,50 y nos sirvieron lo que se ve en la foto, dos brochetas que eran del tamaño de un palito de pan de esos embolsados. El pan cristal con tomate 3,50€ eran la mitad de un bollito de pan cortado en 4 trozos. Las patatas bravas 6,50€ venían en un cuenco que cabía en una mano. Lo "más abundante" fue la chistorra a la cerveza por 8,50€ pero igualmente se aprecia en la foto....más pequeñas que un palito de pan. En los baños tenían altares religiosos...yodo muy raro. Los camareros están subiendo y bajando continuamente las escaleras a pesar de no haber ningún cliente arriba. Todo muy escaso, carísimo y nada rico....
