Fryes Tiki Beach Bar — Restaurant in Antigua

Don't go. We arrived 12:40 and placed an order for one steamed snapper and one shrimp plate. Was told "15 minutes prep time". Sat and watched as one minibus after another dropped off ten persons at a time who were coming off a Norwegian cruise line ship. Easily 40 persons were served plates. At 1:05, when we asked where ours was they assured us it was coming right out. When we finally told them we were leaving at 1:15pm they said that in fact they were out of shrimp and had sent an employee to go purchase some but he hadn't come back yet. HUH? When were they going to tell us that?? Waiting 40 minutes and not getting served? If you are not a part of a cruise ship package which is obviously their priority, do...

Jackie is a fantastic character, our tour on the way to the beach was phenomenal. The water was perfect, the food was beyond amazing, it was all wonderful. If you are visiting Antigua by cruise or by plane, just go find them and see them. They think of everything, all you have to do it show up, getting there was organized well and a short walk to where the van was parked to get us. Our driver Dwayne gave us a lovely “light” historical tour of the island, he is an excellent driver. I get crazy car sick and I sat in the very back not an ounce of car sickness, honestly so much better than I expected, next trip, we’re booking with them thank you all for everything you did to make our day...

On cruise, picked up by heavenly tours. Excellent company, our driver was Chef Dwayne. Told us all about Antigua. Learned alot. Then we arrived at Fryes beach. What a beautiful spot. Had a tiki bar there with Vaughn, lorenzo and mama. Great people. Vaughn tends bar and will make sure you are well taken care of. Then for lunch our driver, Chef Dwayne barbecued us up some great chicken. Paradise! Met Jacqui, who runs heavenly. She entertained everyone with song and artwork.
