Stopped in here to have a little lunch on our walk through the city. We ordered the Queso Empanadas and after about 1/2 hr of waiting they came out. They were so hard we could barely cut them with a knife. And they were not queso they were beef and it was so dried out we couldn’t even scrap the insides to eat that part. Very slow staff and didn’t seem to excited that we were there. Try the pizza place across the street. They seem to be doing way better business. Now we know!

Wow, I came to San Telmo for some pictures and ran into this beautiful place by chance. The food is very good but the service and the atmosphere is simply another level in comparison to other restaurants. I have been in Buenos Aires for one week already and I simply felt at home at this place. I would definitely recommend not only for the food, which was pretty good, but for the experience. Thumbs up for this place and for Ivan the waiter in charge!!

Old style bar in San Telmo. I was there with 3 others we had some coffee and a beer. Service was fine. Coffees were ok. The Italian cappuccino was cold. It was heated up on a microwave. Cream was sugar free a big plus. In most places it is sugared. 2 pastries wetter bought both were good. Basic coffee and teas are reasonably priced. With alcohol such as an Irish coffee there is a big price jump.

We have spent 4 weeks all over Argentina and this was our worst restaurant by far.

The food was really not good. The kids food was actually impossible to eat.

In addition this restaurant proved dishonest staff. For the kids we requested a full ‘bife de chorizo’ and asked it to be cut in pieces so we do not have to do it ourselves. They clearly served a half bife and not full as compared to ours that was twice as big. But they obviously billed full price.

They did not invoice the happy hour price on our cocktails that was yet applicable.

And finally the waitress said with the addition that service was not included (that we actually already knew but it was the first time someone dared to mention it). She kept all the change considering it was her tip whereas we wanted to leave part of it only.

Just avoid this place. Other people in the restaurant left after looking at the menu. We should definitely have...

Was very bad experience. The decoration was very nice, but then we waited a long time at the table, so my husband had to go to the balcony all the time to order. We ordered two chopps (mine came on a dirty cup), afterwards we ordered french fries with garlic (was ok) and just when they brought the french fries they brought breads (which is common in buenos aires bring breads before your meals. At the bill you will see "cubiertos" - we refused the cubiertos because of the delay). For the main dish we ordered ravioli with ricota and nuts and my husband ordered a mediterranean pizza. It came a ravioli with ham and pizza with ham (both of us dont eat ham). After this i said i dont eat ham and the waiter said they didnt have ricota with nuts, so i just asked him to give us one mediterranean pizza. When we went to pay the bill (of coarse we had to go to the waiter), they put on the bill the cubiertos...

ATENÇÃO!!!!! NAO RECOMENDO.
