I was here with my boyfriend and two friends a week or so ago. We had one round of drinks. It was fine, nothing spectacular. The service was exceptionally average.
When it came to paying, we paid with one card to make things simple. The waitress emphasised (way too much) that the tip was not included, which it said clearly on the bill anyway. We hadn't ordered any food and only had some beer and one mojito, so it was pretty presumptuous to demand a tip. I found her insistence very rude.
Anyway, fortunately for her, I had already resolved to pay a tip. She then asked me how much I wanted to pay on card, to which I replied the total of the bill (which didn't include tip). She said, "and the tip????" aggressively, so I was compelled to explain that I already planned to pay the tip in cash. I was actually trying to do her a favour because, having been a waitress myself, I know I always preferred cash tips.
So then I gave her a cash tip. It's like 8.5% rather than 10%. Still pretty generous given the immensely average service and her overly aggressive approach to getting money out of me. We're talking a difference of AR$10 here... The main reason though was I couldn't find the other AR$10 I thought I had. I gave the tip to her. And the convo went like this:
Her: and where's the rest???? Me: err...that's the tip? Her: it has to be 10%. Me: it doesn't say that on the bill... Her: you have to tip 10% (she's genuinely angry now). Me: I really don't... I honestly don't have to give anything. Her: it's the law Me: I'm pretty sure it's optional, madam, or it would be on the bill... Her: No it's not, I need more.
(this convo happened in Spanish, so there wasn't a language barrier to excuse her with)
She refused to leave the table until she got it... Between us we managed to rummage around for it in the end just so we could leave.
Such a needlessly sour end to an otherwise okay night at an okay bar. Won't be back for her lack of good...

We went here for drinks (bottle of wine and aperol spritz). We also ordered nachos and calamari. The food was absolutely disgusting! The chips were stale, the cheese is plasticky and the calamari smelly and not well cooked. On top of that, the service was horrible. The young lady that brought us the menus was unfriendly. Then it took quite some time for the waitress to come take our order. Once she brought our drinks and food we didn't see her again. Actually shocked this place has...
