KIKIRIKI — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

I started getting more interested in the Asian (Especially Korean) culture and food when the pandemic started. And I really wanted to try out their famous fried chicken🤩.

So we headed to @kikiriki.oficial  for their:

(You can choose 4 types of chicken).

We choose: Crispy: crispy fried chicken. Rojito (Red): fried chicken with red chili sauce. Negrito (Black): fried chicken with soy sauce-based sauce. Nevado: honey butter flavor fried chicken. This combo includes: Waffle fries🍟 .

6 plates kind of like banchan (I detailed the names on the pics☝🏻).

2 sauces: Kikiriki (mustard-based sauce with mayonnaise and peanut 🥜).

Picadulce (chili sauce based on mayonnaise, sweet & spicy). $ 3,000 (🇦🇷 $) x 4-5👤 I highly recommend...

I AM A WALKING FRIED CHICKEN. That being said, giving this 4 stars means it is good. We had it delivered at home and the food arrived still warm and nice. It came with sauces and side dishes. I love the beans in barbecue sauce, it reminds me of my childhood snack back home. I was expecting that the chicken pieces will be smaller, but they actually use big chunks and pieces. Judging by the texture, they use a mix of chicken breast and thigh. The best part of it, they are not dry but not oily too. That is very good! I can't remember the flavors we ordered but I liked them all. The coleslaw and mashed potato with gravy were also good. Though the gravy can be improved. I will order again from these...

En mi opinión está bien pero nada del otro mundo, nada de especial. Es un pollo frito que podes llegar a comer en cualquier otro lado que no se especialice en platos a base de pollo, no tiene mucha ciencia. El pollo frito por defecto es rico, hagas como lo hagas, es muy difícil que no salga rico, pero me pareció que este no tiene nada especial. Entiendo que acá en Argentina no hay mucha cultura de comer pollo frito como en otros países y que por eso le pueda llamar la atención a la gente pero sinceramente no me pareció algo para destacar. La cerveza tirada es buena y la sirven bien fría! (Como se debe). Muy lindo el lugar, tranquilo, está bueno para juntarse a tomar una cerveza y picar pollo frito con salsas y sus acompañamientos. En especial recomiendo el acompañamiento de Jalapeños encurtidos! Espectacular, simple pero hace todo más rico, un bocado de pollo frito con una rodaja de jalapeño es una combinación espectacular. El Jalapeño hace que todo sea más rico. La atención dejó bastante que desear la verdad, confundieron el pedido por más que lo repasamos más de dos veces, demoras en traerte un vaso de cerveza u otro tarrito de jalapeños. Por último me pareció excesivamente caro, la materia prima es POLLO, ya se pasan de vivos me parece (típico de este país). Por otro lado te mienten con el precio porque si pagas en efectivo te hacen un 20% de descuento... A ver nadie te regala nada en este país, claramente no vale lo que dice como precio final sino que vale lo que te dicen que es en efectivo, pero te hacen creer que son muy buena gente y que te descuentan porque hacen caridad. Aún así con el descuento me sigue pareciendo caro para ser un pollo frito, unas papas y unas cervezas. Esto último (lo del precio) no es algo particular de este lugar, sino algo recurrente en varios lugares que no escapa a la...
