Mizuki Puerto Madero — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Food is atrocious. I legitimately could not take more than a few bites of the food. There is no "teppayaki" whatsoever. The photos on google maps are old and outdated, and the teppayaki doesn't exist anymore. What's left is a seemingly fancy, but sad excuse of a restaurant.

The food. Jesus christ, the food is hands down the worst here in Buenos Aires. The rice was RANCID. Think of sour, gone bad chicken or pork. It tasted EXACTLY like that. The shrimp was fishy, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a month. Completely inedible. Sour, disgusting, I couldn't swallow it.

For my dish...Ugh. The "teppayaki" "Ribeye/ojo de bife". I am so angry honestly; it was NOT even CLOSE to a ribeye. It was bad quality, cheap, chopped up beef pieces. Tough, heavily overseasoned with ONLY soy sauce, it was like a salt lick. I could not eat more than 4 pieces max. You can't look at this photo and tell me that this sh!t is ribeye.

This restaurant was hands down the WORST one I've been to here in Argentina, and I've been living here for 2 years now. Incredibly disappointed, considering it wasn't cheap; We had an amazing parilla the other night for less!!

Fui un par de veces. Como tal no es un mal lugar, la comida es muy rica y los precios son accesibles, pero tiene sus cosas: Los meseros pasan cada muerte de obispo y hasta pareciera que evitan mirar a las mesas para que no los llames, aunque tienen buen trato. La comida tarda bastante, 40 minutos mínimo aunque el lugar esté vacío y ni pensar en pedir primero algo y después otra cosa porque son otros 40 minutos de espera. La última vez que fui con mi pareja pedimos 4 rolls juntos justamente para que eso no nos pase y nos trajeron 2 mal (supuestamente por error del mesero). Nos dejaron los 2 que estaban bien y otros 40 minutos para que nos trajeran los otros 2 correctos. Todo ese tiempo quedamos a medio comer porque queriamos comer todo junto (mi pareja recien se está metiendo en el mundo del sushi y quería que comiera cosas variadas). Preguntamos al mesero si habia algun tipo de compensación y basicamente nos dijo que sus superiores no iban a querer dar nada como compensación porque el error habia sido suyo. Pedimos que como mínimo nos cambiaran las bebidas que ya estaban calientes de tanta espera. Nos las cambiaron, trajeron la comida y de ahi en adelante todo bien, hasta que pedimos la cuenta. El mesero nos trajo la cuenta, se fue 15 segundos, volvió y LITERALMENTE se quedó parado al lado nuestro con la mirada clavada en la plata mientras nosotros contábamos. No sabemos por qué hizo eso, pero fueron los dos minutos mas incómodos de mi vida. No es un mal lugar para ir, pero estas cosas te hacen pensar en...

Never again. Should have -1 rating instead of 1

Food is served cold and in poor taste, what a waste! server did poorly in servicing our meal and a total mix up in our bill. Server did apologize for the mix up but when they tried to box the food we would not eat (as a solution as they said) it is clear they are not interested to serve us properly.

What a waste coming to this restaurant, should have spend our money elsewhere. Will...
