Ciro Puerto Madero — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Horrible food and service.

Basically a tourist trap.

The only good thing about this restaurant was the location and one of the staff who was polite.

Took nearly twenty minutes for the drinks to come. Even though it was not busy. The food took almost an hour to come out and it was cold. Fries, cold. Beef, cold. Mushroom dish was horrible and gritty Salad was wilted and unappetising. Definitely not worth the very expensive prices they’re charging.

One of the staff was just unhelpful and rude and was on her phone the entire time.

The manager didn’t even bother to come to us when we complained about the food and asked to speak with them. And when we went in, she just smirked and was very dismissive.

I had seen some of the other reviews about the bad food and service but didnt think it was true. Alas, we had the bad experience too. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND...

PESIMA atencion. Llegamos minutos antes de las 12 (figura que la hora de cierre es 1am) con la idea de tomar un helado y soplar las velitas, pues dicen que ofrecen una porcion de torta con cualquier consumicion en tu cumpleaños si presentas DNI. Ya estaban realizando las tareas de cierre, entonces para no retrasarlos le planteo toda la situacion a la chica de la caja; me confirma el beneficio cumpleaños, pero me dice que ya no servian helado, que los habian bajado, cocina tampoco, solo mostrador, y que solo podía ser en efectivo (ni tarjeta ni transferencia). Voy al auto a consultar si tenian efectivo, conseguimos algo, aunque sea para soplar las velitas. Vuelvo, le pido un alfajor, lo pago, me lo da...y espero...repito lo de la torta... Me dice que no, "Me hizo un FAVOR al venderme el alfajor, pero que estaban cerrados"...le digo que le expliqué desde el principio que habia venido por el helado y por eso...que lleve el alfajor porque no se podia otra cosa, pero por la torta... Me hace una cara de fastidio, me pide el dni, y me dice que mi cumpleaños fue ayer (sí, efectivamente para ese momento ya erqn mas de las 12)...le digo que vine antes... Me lo niega... Le digo que si me decia que no en el momento no llevaba nada...y termino diciendo devolviendome la plata. En fin, atencion terrible. Esperaria que se comuniquen para charlar la situacion, ya que realmente me sentí mal y me parece una pena, pues visito el local de palermo al menos una vez al mes y aparte de tener muy buenos productos ellos sí que saben atender y le ponen ganas. esta vez quise variar para ver otra zona, pero ante lo sucedido, si Ciro como "empresa" o conjunto no responde por la calidad de la totalidad de sus empleados no voy a poder volver a ninguna....

If you believe that quantity has a quality all its own, then this place is for you. If you enjoy good food, look elsewhere.

The highlights: 1) right by the river in lovely Puerto Madera, the ambiance is top notch; 2) their smoothies, licuados, and cocktails are quite good. 3) chicken salad was excellent. The lowlights: the Milanese. It was dry, tough, flavorless, and overall very mediocre. But what they lack in quality they more than make up for in quantity. One is enough for 2 (maybe even 3) people. Don’t make the mistake we made and order way more...
