OVERVIEW Overall, it was a great experience and the food was delicious. The thing I love is the history they've been in business since somewhere around 1927.
LOCATION They're located on a main road, Corrientes, right next door to McDonalds.
PRICE The price for the empanadas was reasonable.
PRODUCT/SERVICE I tried the chicken empanadas, ham and cheese empanadas, and humita empanadas. I discovered a bone in my chicken empanada as well as my uncle-in-law, wasn't expecting that, but supposedly that's their style. I would advised against the humita, it tasted like straight up canned corn. The ham and cheese was delicious.

Visually, we weren’t holding out much hope when this slice got slapped on a plate – I mean, it’s oozing oil like the Exxon Valdez. Sighing, we cut it up and dove into the pieces. Oh my. Near perfect crust. Great tomato sauce. And despite the ooze, absolutely delicious, gooey and flavorful cheese. No wonder their claim to be Almagro’s favorite pizza since 1927 – just all around “Yum”. That’s no same-same pizza....
Read moreI’ve been here twice, one time we ate inside and another - got a take away. When we ate in the restaurant, everything was fine. We ordered Muzza and Fugazzeta rellena, both were delicious. Today we got one Provolone without ham, but in the end it barely had provolone too. Pizza got stuck to the paper under it, so it was hard to serve and eat it.
