Arrived with optimism as we typically enjoy Peruvian food. It is our last night in Argentina and we were wanting to celebrate. There was an awkward moment initially as we had no reservations. That said, the restaurant never got past half full. Warm bread and a salmon spread arrived without plates. We had to ask for them. Skipping to main course, the only outstanding flavour in my risotto was that burned rice. My friend’s ‘catch of the day’ was tasteless. I mention it here because no one asked us there. We were never asked if we would like more wine. In the end, the waitress walked away with our credit card and slapped the bill fold down with the check. Kindof disappointing for our last evening after a lovely month in Argentina. Disappointed...

While the restaurant is attractive and has a nice atmosphere, our dining experience was underwhelming. The service was slow (even though there were only 3 or 4 other tables occupied) and the waiter was initially surly. Questions clarifying the menu were answered impatiently (possibly because we can't speak much Spanish and took a while to understand his answers). The salad was very second rate with wilted greens and fibrous heart of palm. The waiter offered to exchange it. The risotto, (a surprisingly difficult dish to get right - i often judge a restaurant by its skill with this dish) was OK. For a restaurant in this price range we expected something...

We went here to celebrate my friends birthday, and the whole table got free champagne and a lovely brownie cake for the birthday girl. I had the salmon with veggies, which was GREAT. Also the salmon with creamed rice was really tasty, and the risotto with beef was the best my risotto-loving friend have ever tasted. The beef was tiny compared to what you will normally get here in Buenos Aires, but this is a seafood restaurant and if you want beef you should go somewhere else. Also the portions are kinda small, so you should have an entree and count in some delicious dessert. The mousse is especially...

Decided to have the ceviche de mar, it came with 2 shot glasses for the sauces: leche de tigre and a rocoto sauce (unsure what it was) the seafood cuts seemed fresh and well proportioned, presentation was on point! Mixing the flavor of the sauces though made it just not right, I mean not right at all. Too salty, the flavor was just gone with the yellow sauce after leche de tigre. Bottom line it's expensive and can't call it ceviche with those flavors, compared to most Peruvian restaurants in the area, and even if the restaurant look superb, was left sad with whatever I ate.
