Rigoletto Restaurant — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

The restaurant and food it self is very good, but (yeah here comes the BUT) the service is one of the worst I have ever experience, specially in Buenos Aires that waiters are Professionals. Starting with Breakfast, you walk in and all the tables are dirty with prior customers left overs. The ones that they are clean you still have to clean'em . We ask for Cafe con Leche and Medias lunas with butter. We were 9 people and they broad, 3 knifes and 1 bread plate that actually was a soccer. The service takes for ever, they have one "waiter" for the entire Restaurant, the Manager was never around to help, always making cell call outside. I always Tip really good were ever I am since many years ago I was a Waiter my self. But tip or not the service was horrendous. I lived several blocks from this restaurant for my six weeks in Buenos Aires. In a city where many Argentine restaurants all seem to have the same menu, they offer some different options and some rare nice salad options. One of the best things is that they open at 8 AM and and don’t close until midnight. I probably ate there five times while visiting the city and all my meals were very good. The service is excellent and the plates are always attractively presented. They make all of their pasta right there on the premises. Having passed by and taking a look at the nice menu, my husband and I were excited to try this restaurant. We were immediately seated upstairs. Ok! Where’d the waiter? He arrived after a few minutes, took an order from the people who were seated behind us, and returned after several minutes with menus for us. Ok, I’ll cut to the chase.
