AVOID. AVOID. Just avoid this bar, even if you are dying of hunger and there is not another place open, if that's your case I will suggest you to have a sad cold sandwich in any kiosk around. Promise: it is going to be a better experience.
I have just came back to my hotel after having a ridicuosly small, extremely overprecided, amazingly cold and rally hard to chew "milanesa" (portion was 50% you can have at any BA bar/restaurant, including Farola de Santa Fe or Club de la Milanesa pretty close to them, and 20% you will regularly have at your home).
They are not just expensive, quality was terrible. And the most embarrasing part came when I had to go inside in order to pay my bill cause manager/cashier "was busy". I have tried to pay with my contactless credit card but he insisted that( wrongly of course) that kind of merhod of payment doesn't exist in Argentina. Then I changed my card but was not able to find my argentinean ID and offered him my driving license which he refused in a very agressive, completely unpolite way. Then, while I was trying to find my ID, he called waitress using loud voice and unnapropiatte-discriminatory language, saying: "THIS MAN DOES NOT HAVE MONEY TO PAY HIS BILL".
Thank God I found my ID at that very same moment, so I asked him "why are you lying and being rude with the (only one) waitress, who is triying hard to dealing with all the work around, while you were talking with your pals doing nothing and instead of bringing me the bill I had to came inside to pay?". He just replied "complain online and dont come back", so I am following his instructions: complaining online and not coming back.
Service was less than correct. I've asked some water for my dog and they gave to me a platic glass, to me, on my hand, like: I will not leave it on the floor, you do it".
Grab your meal somewhere else. Do not expose yourself to a very violent and weird experience just because they are open late and you are bit hungry. Belieme me, A pancho or a burger anywhere else will be a better deal.
I guess this guy is the owner or part of the family, otherwise I do not understand why keeping him in front...
Me atendió Richard. No cambies nunca.
Read moreWe had steak with salad and potatoes; basic, but good flavors and satisfying. The prices aren't outrageous and the service acceptably efficient and cordial. The sidewalk seating, sadly, is on a very busy avenue with constant bus traffic, noise and fumes. Inside is just like the photos: clean and bright. However, it is annoying at best, and deceptive at worst, to be served a starter of a basket of various stale, dry breads which was not requested but added to the invoice. Perhaps this is a Buenos Aires thing, perhaps it is something in the Menu fine print, but it feels a little...
