Togni's Café — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Allegedly it opens at 8am. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, and we decided to go to Tognis cafe. Asked for a bagel, two lattes and a cinnamon roll. They did not have any of that. We needed to wait for the to get the bagel and cinnamon ready which was only a couple of minutes so not really bad, but the merchandise was not ready. We decided to ask for two lattes only because they told us that the bagel and the cinnamon will take some minutes, when the time for the coffe arrived, the coffe machine was "cold" and they were not able to prepare the lattes. We asked for them to either give us sth of the same value so we could leave...but apparently they could not or were not able to understand the suggestion. We ended up with two "cold" coffes. Very bad experience. I do not understand why do they open at 8am if they have not the equipment and products ready. Better to open at 8:30 and provide a good service instead of this "we do as we...

If we talk about a place where they know how to take advantage of space, this is certainly it! Very interesting that the ovens are between the tables and the pastry is prepared in front of your eyes... The coffee is wonderful - outstanding latte, mocha and flat white, I would definitely go back for one of them. Now if I have to choose accompaniments... I had no luck with my stuffed croissant, the truth is that it was well past golden, perhaps for many it is the perfect note, I prefer them less "tanned". I also ordered a cookie (with a weird name), filled with chocolate that was not very special. My first impression was almost tarnished by a very rude guy who didn't even say hello and said that "I had to place the order first" to enter, fortunately the girl who brought us the coffees and the second round with another guy, raised my expectations...

Vamos por lo primero, 7 sándwiches y ninguna opción vegetariana. Pedí el tostado de pan brioche sin jamón, y lo prepararon sin problema. Era un sandwich grande y el pan realmente era una espumita.

Pagué $9.000 el sandwich -al que le tuve que sacar el jamón-.

Uno de los pedidos fue preparado mal (confundieron un sandwich de focaccia con un bagel) que ok, no pasa nada, pero se demoró un montón en salir…

Al final pedimos un cafe frío para llevar y no tenían un sorbete para la tapita del descartable -que tenia hueco en el centro para poner sorbete-, ni una tapita que sea apta para poder ir tomando…

En cuanto al servicio: El chico que estaba en la caja claramente era nuevo y estaba dando lo mejor que podía, realmente su atención me pareció que estuvo bien. Ahora, la chica que estaba preparando el café y entregando los pedidos en la ventana, en dos ocasiones lo trató realmente mal, retándolo adelante nuestro como si nada por preguntarnos el nombre para cada pedido en lugar de anotarnos en grupo (éramos 5 haciendo pedidos individuales), acaso nunca fue nueva en un trabajo? Puntos a favor por la compañera que la cortó pidiéndole que lo deje hablar para que pueda aprender y estar más tranquilo. De todos modos, repito, todo esto adelante nuestro…..

Por último, el baño se veía sucio, no tenia ningún gancho donde colgar cosas.

En líneas generales, tristemente me pareció un garrón. Me quedé con ganas de probar el café, que iba a pedir antes de irme pero no tenía ganas de volver a sentirme incómoda mientras retan a alguien adelante mío…
