My friend and I came here after a long hike, and we both agreed that this was hands-down the BEST meal we had during our entire stay in El Chaltén. I ordered the locro, a traditional Argentine stew with squash, hominy, beans, and pork. It was the most delicious dish that I’ve had in town and I know I will dream of this meal for years to come. My friend ordered the lasagna and gushed about how incredible it was. The best pisco sours in town, too! The owner was so sweet and welcoming, and she even offered to take us back to our hostel since we were sore after our nearly 30km hike. I would highly recommend this place, definitely worth a stop while you’re visiting El Chaltén!

Here we ate a really delicious pumpkin soup as a starter and then one of the best goulash’s we ever ate in our lives!! And we tried it in Hungary, Poland and Austria. The atmosphere in this restaurant was exactly what we were looking for! Since in el Chalten a lot of places are VERY touristy and packed with people, we were happy to find a more chilled place with not too loud music in the background 🌞 would come again! We really want to recommend this place! The waitress and the cook were really kind!

My wife and I stopped by for dinner last night after a very long and tough hike to the Laguna De La Tres. We were immediately seated and food was served. We ordered vegetable soup, friend shrimp and Chicken Marsala kind of dish (sorry, can’t recall the name). Everything was perfect and very tasty. After the dinner, we needed a taxi to our hotel, we requested our server to help us with calling a taxi. She tried but there were none available after 10 pm. She volunteered to drop us off at the hotel taking a break from her work. This is just unheard of hospitality. While dropping us off she also mentioned that she and her husband owned that awesome restaurant. She declined to take any money as well. The food, the service and hospitality of this place is outstanding and we highly...

Came here because the place smelled great when we were nearby. After having our group of 4 separate into 2 groups of 2 (not a huge issue), one of our tables got food much earlier than the other, despite ordering at the same time. We ordered 2 steaks (Argentinian and Tenderloin, medium rare), and they came an hour later after we asked (it seemed that they forgot about us) and the steaks were well done. I could tell the servers were doing their best and they were kind to offer us a ride back to our stay, but they also unfortunately threw out a soup and goulash that we had asked to take away to bring back. Overall not a great experience here considering the prices - go find anywhere else in town and save your...
