I was really disappointed to check in at the hotel Poincenot, which I chose because of the daiyokujo which was in their description on Booking.com, after finding out that there was no daiyokujo. |They offered me to use the one in their other hotel (part of the same group) and felt so happy even though it wouldn’t have been exactly the same since I would have had to walk from hotel to hotel to get access to it. |I went to dinner, cheered with my boyfriend because even if it would have been uneasy I would have gotten the service I thought I payed for and when I came back I was told they made up their mind and since my reservation had been done directly to the hotel and not through their window on Booking.com I did not have any lever to ask for the use of the daiyokujo.|They hurt me twice, the first time at the check in and the second by ruining my wonderful evening after the awesome dinner at the La Oveja negra.|They communicated that even without giving me the opportunity to change my mind and letting me change accommodation.|I could not even speak to the hotel managers who let everything in the hands of their employee who could not take any decision about refund and booking cancellation.|I feel I have been defrauded. Don’t ever come here. It’s bed... writing from the room next to the reception and not being able to sleep because of the anger and because of the other guests voices in the common room right outside my...

We are incredibly happy with our 5nights stay at Poincenot! I had forgotten that we booked a twin bedroom so at check in, I was asking if they have a room with double beds instead, without really hoping for too much. The lady at reception actually went above and beyond, walked up and down & checked a few rooms for us, although in the end we needed to take the twin room which was fine. Breakfast was great everyday, not too much option but can get your morning going for sure. What I loved most was the housekeeping! They turned our bed down daily, kept our room nice and clean which was a joy to come back to after a long day hike. We put the twin beds together and the next day when we returned, they made it a double bed by adding some extra mattress, what a star! I would highly recommend this place - though it’s a bit of a walk from the bus station but you will be surrounded by restaurants and...

The staff at the reception great and breakfast as well.

That being said, I didnt pay USD37 a night, this was not a hostel but I actually felt like I was staying in one, the room was terrible, all the way in the back, window facing a car park, 1 metre away, people coming and going all the time, very irritating, the beds are made for Hobbits, they are so small and thin that it was impossible to rest, not to mention the stains on the cover, it was a terrible experience, they should made big upgrades, again, is NOT a hostel, dont treat customers like that. Also the noise was insane, people walking around talking extremely loud late at night, super early in the morning and no one from the reception said anything, how is this allowed? again, is NOT a hostel but it...

We wouldn't stay here again. At $160/night USD, just simply not worth it and so many other options in town. We were getting a last minute deal on Hotwire or Priceline and we're super tired from just doing the 14 mile Fitz Roy hike. Pictured was weirdly placed toilet that I couldn't stand in front of and my wife had to awkwardly put herself under the sink...the shower was tiny and was sparring all over a wooden window...what?! Lastly, the pillows were so bad..we went into our camper van and used those pillows. Overall, just not a good experience :(

A nice and clean Hotel in Chalten. The breakfast is not very big but sufficient. The staff is very helpful. The Rancho Grande next door belongs to the hotel and is open 24h - even the restaurant. Wifi is weak- but that’s a Chalten-issue rather than the hotels fault.
