Hostel "Las Cuatro Estaciones" — Hotel in El Chaltén

A pretty basic place but cheaper than most and better than most of the cheaper options. We were lucky enough to be alone in a dorm room the 3 nights we spent there. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were clean. It's located at the end of the main road, great for many of the hikes around but a bit far from the center, restaurants, supermarkets. Found the place nice a homely. However when we checked out the lady running the place wanted to charge us to leave our bags and to hang around for the day (as our bus was at 8pm), we couldn't even use the toilet. Paying the charge wouldn't have bee a problem, however when about six other guests check out at the same time, but don't get charged to hang around all day and use the services it really boiled my blood. We stayed only one night in this hostel.||It is cheap (180 pesos in high season), but dark, noisy and dirty.||We got clean sheets and slept in a really fragile bunkbed.
