Read moreCongratulations to bigalia pizza Napolitana! After being open since February this is TODAY the best Pizza place 🍕 in the city of Mendoza. I have tried several pizza places and bigalia is the best in my opinion. What I like: first, the pizza dough is like no other in Mendoza City. Second you can customize your red sauce by asking for extra ( premium sauce). Third, the overall quality of the pizza pie with the toppings is fresh. Fourth, the ambiance and seating is inviting. I enjoyed the Italian music being played on the speakers. Lastly, the service for me was stellar. The host Camilia and the server Gabriel speak perfect English and can describe the menu and process if you choose to ask. I like the fact if you choose you can watch the chef prepare the pizzas from the large open window from the sidewalk and ask questions if you choose.. the oven appears to simulate wood 🪵 burning for added flavor. The prices and wine list are very reasonable. I will visit many more times...
Read moreI have traveled across an entire country just for pizza, so I can say with confidence I’m a fan of good pizza. And many people make very good pizza, but great pizza comes down to small details: the choice and use of olive oil, the sauce, the balance, the quality of cheese, the decision to cook the basil into the pizza are cut it fresh on top, and obviously the crust. Margarita is always my test of any pizza place. This place has, to date, arguably the best Margarita pizza I’ve EVER had. The use of olive oil is not only generous, but beautifully robust in flavor. The cheese (usually a mild factor) was a highlight. The sauce was unadulterated and perfect. The crust was from heaven. And the presentation was so fun. The kitchen is wide open. The guys making the pizza are smiling and seem to enjoy each other. Just a perfect experience. Don’t go anywhere...
