Manush Centro — Restaurant in Municipio de San Carlos de Bariloche

I’m very angry, because we had to wait 1.5 (!!!) hours until the food arrived. Actually almost 2 hours - which is definitely too much. 😳😳😳

The waiter who took the order and forgot to put it in the system just ignored us all evening and moved on to serve other tables.

No one apologies, or sorry about that. They just forgot about our reservation and let it stay outside. I had to go to them and ask what is going on and just than they told me “oh yea he forgot you but it’s ok” so I asked if they know what we ordered so they can bring it now and they actually didn’t! So we told them all over again.

Not only we had to wait even much mire than expected, but also ate different dishes than we wanted because in the beginning we ordered what can be delivered fast, eventually it took 2 hours + not what we wanted even though we could have it already. We were the first couple there and everyone around us finish eating an hour before us.

Mistakes happens BUT it is common to at least apologise, or even to compensate when you make a client wait so so long. Plus it’s not our first time there so it’s even more disappointing because we love this place but won’t come back. I think it’s a really bad service 😔 I hope that they will read it and next time they make a mistake they will apologise and try to make the clients feel better and not just make us feel like we are annoying them...

Simply put, if it’s busy at Manush, don’t stay. Go somewhere else. We were seated quickly, but then promptly ignored. Eventually one server brought a menu, then disappeared. The server who was working other nearby tables who were seated after us eventually took our order (probably because we kept staring at him). The beers are good. At least, the beers they decided to actually bring us. I got a flight (Cata Manush) and my spouse got a pint. We got some olives (aceitunas) and pickled vegetables (picles) to share. My flight and the olives/pickles arrived and then….nothing. No amount of indicating we needed assistance was ever acknowledged. People around us got arrived, got served, some left….my spouse never got the pint. We will go elsewhere and suggest that you do too. Unless you’re the only person in here, don’t go to Manush. Terrible service not worth the beer. When we finally got the bill, my spouse’s pint wasn’t even...

NOY-ZEE! Very eclectic (jumbled? Always something that someone dislikes?) music. Way too loud for dinner, loud for drinks and conversation. OK for loud bar & noisy patio tables. The areas are well separated, let's do the same with the volume, at least. Greasy red meat bar / burger menu; cardiologists wet dream. A few alternates - fish was really excellent, "fried chicken" was assorted white bits with breading. OK. Dipping or fry sauces atrociously bad, but that's Argentina. Don't get me started on mustards... Their made-in-house beers seem ok, German lager particularly good. Slow service even at 90% capacity - maybe not smart planning for the 4-day weekend. As far as low cheque diners are concerned, get em in - get em out and fill up with bar bill beauties = profit, so have enough servers! Price / quality ok, slightly better than local competition.
