Very nice place to have some pasta and wine. Prices are around 1.000 pesos per plate if you don't go for special sauces (bolognese, putanesca, mushrooms) - prices as of May 22. Unless you want a special sauce, the prices indicated allow you to request white sauce, tomato sauce, etc. The wine prices are good and well.within the average price for that kind of restaurant. Let's say that, for 2-3k pesos, you can get a very good wine. Leon was excellent (and beyond). He knew we were Brazilians and he brought some Olive Oil along with the breads (Brazilians will know what I mean). But he was so smooth that he just brought it and left. Later on, I asked if he did it because we were Brazilians - he, of course, said yes. Nice touch! We went there twice and I recommend to come in early if you don't want to wait...

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES Where is Gordon Ramsay?
I have barely left this Dreadful restaurant... I only have one comment: FLEE AT ALL COSTS. El Boliche de Alberto Pastas is a straightforward scam... There were 4 of us and we ordered 3 different dishes: Bolognese pasta, Alberto lasagne and lasagne a su gusto + ampanadas as a starter... 2 of the plates had to be sent back because the waiter made a mistake on the order.. The lasagna dishes arrived cold, soaking in filthy mush, a mixture of oil, cream and water. The bolognese pasta was bland, dry and tasteless... As for the empanadas, probably the worst we have eaten in Argentina. A shame for this establishment which pretend has been serving the best pasta in the country for 35 years....
The pictures speak for themselves.
We expressed our disappointment to the manager on duty, called VIVIANA. She initially accused us of having made the wrong choices on the menu, before showing us total and absolute ignorance.
TASTE LOVERS, RUN AWAY. El Boliche de Alberto Pastas IS A SHAME FOR...
Read moreAfter going to their parrila (grill) restaurant, we had very high expectations. Long story short- very disappointing. The food was nothing more than OK. It's edible and tasty, but considering the means- the name this place carries, that fact they actually make fresh pastas in the place- they can do much more. They clealy no nothing about the Italian cuisine. The veriaty of no-filling fresh pastas was very underwhelming, the lasagna swam in spinach juice, and the sauce tasted like something I could easily make at my home kitchen. But the worst part was that it's a restaurant that specialises in making jaw dropping meats, and yet the only meat option in the menu was bolognese sauce.
A disappointment. They can do...
