EL Garden — Restaurant in Yerevan

Terrible service! One of the worst I've ever had in any country... I called to make a reservation but was asked to stop by the restaurant and leave a cash deposit. I took a cab next morning and met with the manager to do that. So, we arrived that night, got seated, made our order. It took them 1.5-2 hours to bring our food. The order that food was served made absolutely no sense - desserts came first for some reason, not everyone in our party got their drinks, some drinks were mixed up... Food was good by the way and place was nice, but none of that really mattered when we were starving for 2 hours to get our food!! Finally, there was error in our check, they tried to charge us for extra drinks. I paid with card and then when leaving realized that I left a deposit! No one from their staff reminded me about it. They gave it back to me after 20 mins... The place is a circus!! Don't go there!!! There are plenty of great restaurants with good food and ambiance in Yerevan, check...

Worst place ever. My family ordered food at exactly 2:00pm. We waited until 3:00pm and nothing was on our table yet besides the 2 water bottles. I highly recommend not going to this place because it is awful. Waiters sounded like they didn’t care and were very rude. Prices are way too expensive. If you want to get customers, you have to have your food at a little low cost. By worst the most awful thing that happened was that when we tried to leave, they tried to keep us there begging us to stay. It was not worth staying there for and hour just for water. I hope the manager reads this and replies with such authenticity for me to accept their apology. I’ve read other reviews and most of them say that the atmosphere is really good but the service is bad. Worst place ever. Do not go there ever. If you are a person looking for actually food that doesn’t take A HOUR to reach your table, go to nima’s Restaurant. There atmosphere is wonderful so is their food. Both much better...

The only positive thing in this place is its atmosphere. It's a kind of little forest with beatiful lightings. And that's all. Now, the negative side. Waiting for waiter about 20-25 minutes to give an order. We ordered 2 fruit cakes, which were not fresh and one lava cake, which was brownie. It was a ring of brownie with the spoon of ice-cream. Come on.. It dissapointed me. Also, we ordered bailleys and the waiger broght it with glass for martini with little peaces of ice. That was a big mistake unfortunately. And for the end, we were waiting for the bill for 20 minutes. We told two waiters to bring the bill and the both forgot. So I went and payed (the were not bringing the bill) in the place they were standing. Also the big minus is that, above all, we spend a lot of money, which it doesn't really deserve. So, deffinitely, if you want to have a rest, go there, sit under the tree and take a water, which they will bring you 30...
