I have been a regular customer at this shop, often enjoying the wide variety of products available. However, my recent visit was disappointing due to the behavior of the staff member at the counter. I visited with a friend and asked to sample a new lychee flavor, something we've done before without issue. Unfortunately, the staff member responded rudely, questioning whether we intended to make a purchase or were just fooling around. This was both unexpected and insulting, especially considering our history as loyal customers.
In contrast, during a previous visit, another staff member was courteous and accommodating, allowing us to sample and make informed choices without any unpleasantness.

Read moreI was so happy to hear that a 48 Flavours had opened up in the Northern Suburbs rather than making the trip to Magill every time I felt like ice cream but only when visiting for a third time to find all your staff very very inattentive.. miserable & not paying attention to their customers.. does it hurt for them to smile? 2 workers on but takes about 4 minutes to actually get their attention to try flavours and be served and get them to come out from the back while one is sweeping the floor acting like that’s more important then patrons think they need a bit more urgency and be more observant. Staff at Magill are always so happy and cheery and get through the lines fast but at Paralowie store they let customers feel awkward and confused and make the decision who orders first rather then the staff...

With so many choices it is a bit sad it's not easier to get more flavors in a single serve without the price and volume increase of more scoops. But they were happy to give samples, so it's not all bad. I'm not sure how many before their patience runs thin :).
Was a bit disappointed they wouldn't provide an extra tub to help 2 of our party who wanted to share 2 cones - so not even splitting a single serve.
