Stanleys Chicken Burgers Seafood — Restaurant in Adelaide

Without a doubt the ABSOLUTE BEST fish/chips/yiros/burgers.. the list goes on. After having eaten at so many different fish&chips shops over the years there is no question. Stanleys is the absolute best. We even moved around 40mins away a couple of years ago and still will make the hour + drive there and back just to get their food over anywhere else closer.

Jimmy is an amazing guy and his wife is really great too, they are the epitome of what real customer service is. He is always friendly, happy, polite, genuine and sincere. It is nothing less than a pleasure going there, especially when they get to know you they truly go above and beyond to look after you. I simply cannot praise them enough.

But even if that wasn't enough on its own (which it would be) The food is simply phenomenal. The burgers and just ridiculously amazing! Even if you go there for a burger or yiros and chips you can't leave without at least a piece of fish too they are THAT GOOD! Also they have a huge range that there hasn't been a single thing I have ever been able to complain about. Even my in-laws who fly in from the USA always make me promise to stop by Stanley's on the way home from the airport..

If anyone is on the fence about trying these guys out, don't debate it any longer. I guarantee you will never be disappointed! There is a reason my family and I keep going back there after...

I had a very unpleasant experience at your restaurant while picking up a DoorDash order. The person working in the store at the time spoke to me rudely, saying the food had been sitting there for a long time and that I would be delivering cold food to the customer, who might complain.

I was shocked and embarrassed, especially since there were other people in the store who saw and heard this. As a DoorDash driver, I only collect orders when they appear on my app, and in this case, I arrived within 5 minutes of receiving the notification. It was unfair to be blamed for something completely outside of my control, and it was even more uncomfortable being spoken to this way in front of others.

All I could say at the time was, “I just got the order,” because that was the truth. I did not delay or mishandle the order, and I certainly did not deserve to be addressed in that manner.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Please remind your team that delivery drivers are part of the process that connects your food to customers, and we deserve to be treated with respect. You never know what someone might be going through, and being spoken to harshly in public can ruin someone’s day.

I truly hope this does not happen again — to me or to anyone else. Encounters like this not only affect people personally but may also reflect poorly on...

I ordered half chicken, chips & 3 salads...greek, tabbouleh & pasta. The chicken was literally burned to charcoal, the wing hard and black & it had an even blacker, hardened neck hanging out of the neck cavity much to my horror. The flesh was dry and tasteless. The 3 salads were literally squashed under the heated chicken & the dozen chips! Who puts a heated chook n chips on top of supposedly fresh cold salads?? Seriously!! The Greek salad had 1 totally wilted tip of, I think, lettuce! The 1 cube of cucumber was strewed & it was tasteless. The pasta salad had a sickening coating of mayo with tomato sauce, the tabbouleh comprised of liquid wilted parsley, old squishy bits of tomato and it was tasteless also. And...the entire meal was swimming in an inch of liquid...which I think might have been the balsamic dressing meant for the atrocious greek salad. It was THE WORST meal I've ever had and the $28 "meal?", ended up in the rubbish bin. You should be ashamed of yourselves charging that much money for a meal that wasn't even fit to eat, let alone cost that much. I'll never, ever patronise this business again! First & last time. Absolutely horrendous food. Needless to say, I'll be going to bed after a Vegemite sandwich for my dinner.....least my bread is fresh, butter cold and the Vegemite?....a...
