I went here because of the reviews but it ended up being disappointed. Average food and average service. Staff didn’t ask me if I wanted sauce for my toddlers sausage roll. When I asked for it once it arrived as we were dining in, they charged me 20 cents for it (note it was a squeeze bottle). I had to put this through on my card as I didn’t have cash. Charging is fair enough but come on…if you forget to ask then charging for it in a seperate transaction is a bit silly. Seperate to this, all of the tables had dirty dishes and food crumbs on them from prior customers. I had to clear my own spot to dine in. The place was quiet so it should have been better presented.

Well what can I say but well done. I ordered my wife's 60th birthday cake on Monday last. Picked up Saturday afternoon late. The Black Forrest cake was moist and light in texture . Lots of fresh cream and chocolate flakes a plenty. The happy birthday writing was exactly what we requested. It was to cater for about 35 people. The cherries were delicious and juicy. The other good thing was I got to take home some dessert for the next few nights. Lol So well done. As a long term customer your bakery products and coffees are to die for. No other pie in Adelaide tops the green thai chicken pie that you can purchase here. It’s flavours are very well balanced, the pastry is perfect and contents are never dry. Service here is always very good, they’ve got loads of variety inc. sweet and savoury. They regularly have a different ‘pie of the week’ which is always fun to try. Overall it’s a place that makes you want to come back. One of my favourite things about the place is their loyalty cards. Probably sucks me in to buying too many pies but it’s a great incentive to keep coming back.

The food is some of the best baked food you'll find in and around Adelaide and I've tried almost everywhere only one to rival it may be is O'Connell St bakery. Workers seem almost miserable sometimes but that's fine as the food is brilliant.

*yeah the couple of them I dealt with at the time acted like they didn't even want to serve me almost. I have been back couple times since and dealt with some good workers though. Sorry can't figure out how to direct reply but yeah they seemed almost miserable at the time, I have been back on other occasions since and had some really nice girls that have...
