This place has great food. It is fresh and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately it has no real warm atmosphere of restaurant and you can’t see the kitchen. It feels cold and claustrophobic. The owner is nice and friendly but has no idea of running a business at the front. My suggestion is to hire juniors for attendance to customers, giving menus, asking them to start with entre’ while thinking about mains, bringing water to table specially in summer, then taking orders. Leave the hard job to the kitchen staff who are at the moment so good at their job but would loose their energy and customers if continue running their business with no waiting staffs. if the above is not possible to do , go totally by phone or app orders and people just pick up their food to take home or pay and pick up from the counter just like KFC and if they choose to sit, the place had seats and tables. Read moreIn my last visit, I was sitting in the restaurant for around 15 minutes and no one came to our table to give us the menu or take orders. So we left without having food there. I'm adding to my review the following lines as I couldn't reply the owner comment. Yes, we took the menu by ourselves when noone brought it to us as we tought you might be overwelmed with the only other table with 8 or 9 customers. The restaurant was empty other than that one table and I didn't see any reserved sign on any other tables. No I haven't booked as I'd been there a few times and you never needed a booking in advanced. That's interesting that you mention thet you saw me, and remeber me but no one helped us with the menu. Read moreOverall it was good but far from perfection. I ordered different type of kebabs via ubereats.
Good things:
1- Fast and efficient 2- Good portion of food 3- Rice was very good 4- they followed the instruction and packing was very nice.
Things need improvement:
1- Menu is so confusing, Sultani usually is koobideh and Barg. But in this restaurant it’s lamb tikka and unfortunately very chewy with lots of fat on it.(Photo)
2- It supposed to be saffron chicken but it was marinated with turmeric and was so dry.
3- koobideh was also had lots of onion in it and taste mostly onion rather than meat.
It is my opinion and since I have been in many Persian restaurants, the review might sound a bit unfair but it can be 5 star for someone who tries Persian food...
