Love Barnacle Bills. Have been going there all my life, to different ones all over Adelaide. Was looking forward to a nice lunch with my mother and we thought we would try the Hallette Cove one. After making it too late to get the lunch special, we ended up deciding to get a two piece fish and chips snack pack to share it between us. My mother politely asked the lady working, if she could please divide the meal up onto two plates for us, to which the lady said No sorry I can't do that but I can bring you two plates. They could make a little bit more of an effort with their chips as they are...

Fish was crumbed so on half the fillet the crumbs were as thick the fish. Medium chips at $6 were also quite small compared to the old fashioned fish and chip shop. The cafe was clean and they had many salad and desert options which looked nice. The atmosphere was ok, just a little noisy for dine in customers. Not really a restaurant type dine in. But ok...
