My new go-to place in Adelaide for a beef bone broth fix! A delightful little restaurant of around 40 covers. The clean, simple elegance in the table settings carries through into the presentation of the delicious and authentic dishes. We ordered the Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake), which was crispy and full of flavour. The Dolsot Bibimbap came in a heated bowl that scorched the rice that came into contact with it, rendering the rice crunchy and slightly burnt, like finding the socarrat at the bottom of a good paella. The chef herself came out to mix the bowl up, stirring in the gochujang to our diner's taste and absolute delight! The Seolleong Tang (Ox bone broth with slices of beef brisket, rice cake slices and potato noodles) was full of the kind of flavour one gets only from very, very slow cooking. We also ordered a pot of tea for two, and were told we could have it topped up when we required. The service was friendly and warm. We had a very satisfying meal, and look forward to coming back for the grilled meat dishes and the chef's signature dish - the Dak Manul (pan-fried chicken, marinated in crushed fresh garlic, with special soy sauce).

This place was so packed with customers when we dined there on a Thursday evening. (speaks volumes about the quality of this restaurant). The waitress was quick in seating us and taking our order, but we did have to wait a long time to receive our meals. (understandable due to how busy they were). When our meal arrived, we were extremely happy with how tasty it was. My Wife had kimchi mandoo and I had prawn mandoo for an entree, and for our main dish, My Wife had JAPCHAE and I had JE-YUK SPICY PORK. Both were sensational. Full of flavor. Then at the end of our meal we had a surprise when we were offered a free desert to make up for us waiting for our meals to arrive! Nice touch! (my only gripe was that if you are a chilli lover, and you request a lot of chilli in your dish, you will be disappointed) So over all, our first impressions of this place were positive, and we will definitely go back again, but when they are not so busy next time!)

I ordered the seafood pancake, soonboobu jjigae, and Sam-Gae tong. Each portion was extremely small; I believe the takeout servings are less than half of what you would get when dining in. The seafood in the soonboobu jjigae was smaller than a fingertip—whether it was squid, mussels, or shrimp, each piece of seafood was about the size of a fingernail. As for the ginseng chicken soup, it’s typically served in a larger pot with the whole chicken and soup. I can't imagine how a ginseng chicken, along with the soup, could fit into a regular takeout box. There’s no way it would be like this at any proper restaurant, right? Three boxes of takeout are definitely not worth $70. Not sure if dine in should be the same…

My experience is based on a Saturday night where the whole restaurant was busy. There were two floor staff, and seemingly the same in the kitchen.

For two Pax we ordered entrees and two mains. First entree took 60 mins to arrive. We had been advised due to how busy the shop was there would be a delay. Unfortunately it took another 30 before one main came out, and then another 15 before the second entree came out. When the final main arrived it had ingredients not listed on the menu (pork). The waitstaff omitted this from the final bill, and issued many apologies for the delays, slow service, meal mix up.

Unfortunately we were not alone in delays tonight, and observed many other tables receiving the same apology from waitstaff. Also saw that some received “service”/free sides of pickled radish and kimchi, but this was not consistently provided to other tables who’d been waiting.

The online booking system seemingly appeared to be the same as other restaurants, however it was not user friendly due to font selection colour not making a distinguishable difference between available and unavailable seating times.

I was hoping to make this a new regular spot for Korean, but with the delays to the meal/experience, and the lack of menu clarity, our experience has been heavily tainted and likely...
