Our dining experience at Naaz Persian Cuisine was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped in, I was enchanted by the warm and inviting ambience. The restaurant's pleasant environment set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
The culinary journey began with the Aloo Mosamma, and I must say, it was a delight to the senses. The Slow Cooked Chicken Lovely Legs, accompanied by the sweetness of onions, plums, and apricots, harmoniously blended with the fragrant Persian Saffron-infused rice. Each bite was a symphony of flavours, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented.
Next up was the Shish Andaz, a true masterpiece of Persian cuisine. The Steam Cooked Eggplant, enriched with ground walnuts and tangy pomegranate paste, paired remarkably well with the aromatic tomato and Persian Saffron rice. It was a medley of textures and tastes, leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied.
And let's talk about the Rack of Lamb! The Slow Cooked lamb, coated with a delightful Pomegranate-Walnut Sauce, was cooked to perfection, tende, and juicy. The marriage offlavourss between the succulent lamb and the saffron-infused rice was a match made in culinary heaven. The dish was elevated by the side accompaniments of bread, Sumac onions, coriander, and fresh lemon, enhancing the overall experience.
The service at Naaz Persian Cuisine was top-notch, with a well-trained and attentive staff that catered to our needs promptly. They were courteous, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel truly valued as guests.
I must emphasize how impressed I was with the speed of service. Despite the restaurant's popularity and the bustling atmosphere, our dishes arrived quickly, allowing us to enjoy the culinary delights without any unnecessary delays.
Naaz Persian Cuisine is undoubtedly a gem when it comes to Persian dining. The combination of scrumptious food, exceptional service, and a delightful environment makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful culinary experience.
Our visit to Naaz Persian Cuisine was a gastronomic adventure that exceeded all expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Read moreVisited this restaurant for a couple of times and always went home happily. As designer and foodie, this place is totally meet my needs. I love the atmosphere, very relaxing and so pretty with it's decorations. I never had Persian/ Iranian food before and was amazed when first time tried it. My favourite menu is tahchin, its like baked rice in tiny size, was very unique and delicious. It's just available on friday tho, and this restaurant is always very busy on friday and saturday, so be prepare and book the seat will be better. If you're lucky enough, you can just walk in on weekend and their staff will find you a table. Staff were friendly and very polite and know about their food.
This restaurant is vegetarian friendly, they have lots of vegetarian options. Even though I'm not really into veggies, but my friends love their Sini or vegetarian platters, they said it was absolutely amazing and well garnished. It comes in a big metal plate with tiny bowls and lots of vegetarian food options in it.
If you don't wanna bother to come on weekend, weekdays are okay too, you might meet the owner, a lovely Persian Lady that knows a lot about their cuisine. My another favourite meal is Morassa Polo. It looks soooo pretty and colourful, the taste was amazing as well. Combination of salty, savoury, sweets, tangy, nutty, with very tender lean chickens. Absolutely phenomenal, never worried about fatty chicken. It is super tender but not overly cooked. Just perfect for me. I adore their dessert as well, rose tea (they use real dried rose) and saffron ice cream taste so fancy. Tips: never skip the dessert. The price is reasonable for it's quality and portion.
Last time I checked, they now sell some beautiful Persian pottery as well, brought all the way from Iran. I surely have to come back for their new fish menu. Hopefully as great as their regular menu.
Perhaps you can open on Sunday brunch/lunch for turkish coffee? Would be great...
Read moreIn all honesty, I write this review with the intention of bringing awareness to future potential customers and I do not intend to disparage how this establishment is operated because it seems like the owners have spent a lot of time and effort on this restaurant.
When we started to order, the waitress tried to assert herself on how we should order the tasting platter. This completely put me off. If you read the other reviews, you’ll understand what I’m referring to.
The kashke bademjan was bland and had no kashk (whey) in it. It was purely a tasteless eggplant and garlic appetiser. This dish came with pickled vegetables on the side, and I’ve never seen this combination before so it was rather odd.
The mast-o-khiar came in an awkward small pot/plate which looked nice for an instagram picture but nevertheless extremely hard to eat out of it.
Now, the main courses arrived.
First main - Zereshk polo was 3 little sorry pieces of chicken, a ton of zereshk (barberry). Again, great for instagram but not our taste palette. Perhaps you might enjoy this if you’ve never had “Persian” food before.
Second main - Lamb rack was bland but the meat quality was OK. It was VERY bland however. The rice came in an awkward sized bowl which made it hard to eat from. It was a great instagram worthy dish however.
Overall, if you have no taste buds and want to go somewhere where 3/5 of the menu items are alcoholic drinks and you’ve got no clue what “Persian” food is, this is your go to spot.
In the end, despite spending a decent amount of money at this restaurant, I had to apologise to my date for the tasteless food (on behalf of...
