The prices are too small that you have to stand in front of the staff to have a look. The staff won’t remind you the $10 big meal promo and if you order a medium meal it’s more than $16. Be careful of the catchy one with red “staff pick”. It looks like it’s a meal with drink and chips. But the $10.9 actually is only a burger. Again, the staff won’t remind you about that. Of course the staff won’t remind you that you can make a big meal($10) which is cheaper than the burger itself! There is no chance you can upgrade your meal with lower prices. The burgers are large (good) but kind of dry (even for the “classic Aussie” burger (in the pic) which contains tomato and pineapple. The chips are dry and hard. Besides, there were small flies flying in the dining area upstairs! Had to be careful when I had my food and drink. If you pay $10 for a large meal to eat, yeah, the price may be worth it. But if you like me paid a price that is much higher while the taste and experience is like this, it’s not worth it at all.

These are photos of the bobby brownie. One photo is with the top of the brownie scrapped off because thats all that was edible and the other photo is of a spoon trying to go through the brownie and not succeeding because they're rock hard. Ordered through uber eats on your X Desserts page and I did not expect a dollop of ice cream when you charge an extra $3 for ice cream; and then its paired with a not so cheap rock hard brownie, ive never been so disappointed with you guys. And to top things off, also ordered caramal thickshakes, and got vanilla. So thanks for ruining my night 👍👍 0 stars if it was possible

This burger joint is as good as any I've been to in Adelaide. The chicken in the chicken burgers are fried to order, so it comes very hot and juicy in the burgers, decent size. They have seating options upstairs so you don't need to dine in the main part of the servo. Recently they have been doing $5 burgers during Sat and Sun, this is excellent value, as the same burger at most other burger joints would be over $15. Overall its better than most burger places and cheaper.

Very unprofessional, I ordered two x burgers one with double patty and one with one and 2 free fries. I said I wanted the meat cooked fresh because my wife is pregnant, when I drove around to the next window I paid and watched them through the window.

One burger was premade, from beforehand which definitely wasn’t cooked fresh and a woman placed that in a bag. I didn’t worry to much because I have worked in fast food chains and knew it would be ok for ME to eat.

They then cooked two patties and made the burger and gave them to me, now knowing that the fresh burger was mine I asked for my money back instantly without thought. She had said my wife’s burger was cooked fresh which it wasn’t. So my wife said just tell them to make it fresh.

We then both had to wait 8 mins or so to get the fresh patty, when we got them we didn’t get any fries and we had to wait another 3 mins for the fries. Then they wanted an apology after all this and I said ok. When I got home to eat I noticed there was only one half empty box of fries. DONT EAT HERE. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF VERY UNQUALIFIED.good burgers but I now don’t trust the workers there any more...

Best burgers and prices in Adelaide hands down. Miss the Hungry Jack's Aussie Burger? Burger X has a Classic Aussie Burger, with bacon, egg, pineapple and beetroot. Want a better tasting chicken burger with pineapple? Try the Tropical Paradise Burger. Hidden gem that should be on every corner in place of all McDonald's', Hungry Jack's' and OTRs. Advertised prices are also true. I get a nasty shock almost every time I go to an OTR from prices not being as advertised (frankly it makes me sick to my stomach to visit an OTR). I love Burger X's Classic Aussie and Tropical Paradise burgers, the fries are beautiful (actually, sometimes they're fries and other times they're chips, but you know what, I really don't care!), two pastries for $8 is a legitimately attractive discount compared to other places, and with $5 burgers on the weekends and a damn good burger of the month meal deal every day, you canNOT go wrong...
