I understand that a restaurant can have moments when it’s not possible to serve customers as quickly as desired, but this was not the case. The restaurant was not busy, and I waited over 30 minutes for a croissant that was already prepared—it just needed to be heated. The girls who were working lacked a bit of empathy toward the customers. While I was waiting for my food, a man walked in and stood at the counter for over 6 minutes without anyone even acknowledging him or saying something like “we’re a bit busy, we’ll be with you soon.” The staff didn’t even have the courtesy to ask him to wait a moment—they simply left him standing there.
As far as I know, in hospitality, the person who walks into the restaurant or wants to place an order should be a priority. And if the staff is too busy, the least they can do is respectfully say something to the customer like “we’ll be right with you” or “I’m gonna be with you soon.”
Please keep in mind that when you open a restaurant that represents a certain part of the world, you’re also representing that country—in this case, Colombia. And Colombia is known for the kindness and warmth of its people. Don’t let poor service change people’s perception of...
Read moreI was recommended to try some Chilean oven empanadas. The person who served me confirmed it: "They're Chilean empanadas."
They have three oven-baked varieties:
Mushroom Beef Chicken
They don't specify ingredients, they were reheated in a press, and at least the ingredients of the "mushroom" ones were nothing like Chilean empanadas. I'm allergic to olives, so I know what I can eat. I lived in Chile and Argentina for years, so I know about empanadas, and the girl told me: "All Chilean empanadas have olives," which is not true. They sell a bad product, at a high price ($7.9), very small, reheated, and with unclear ingredients.
The person who served us was kind and gave us our money back without any problems. I suppose it's not their fault that they sell a bad product. If they're made by a Chilean person, well, they're a signature recipe, but traditionally a oven mushroom empanada has cheese and no ingredients like olives, and if they do have olives, they should be very clear about it on their menu.
If you want something Colombian, I think they sell quite a few products and the people...
Read more5 stars? Why? OK, let me tell you why.
The coffee is excellent, I have tried its cappuccino and mocha before, both times really tasty and creamy!
We tried the Ham and American Cheese sandwich this afternoon (forgot the name, if you know please tell me, I know it had an F in it! lol) absolutely delectable! Fresh bread and really nice.
The staff is smiley, which is a big plus for any business.
I don't speak Spanish but I just love the way some customers say hola and are greeted with a nice Hola back 😊
The place is full of nice positive vibes and the music is always cool.
So, that's why 😁 Thanks Captain Reza Nashta for introducing this amazing place, and thanks...
