If I could have given a minus rating I would have! Last year I was physically assaulted in this restaurant by someone who I was dining with infront of our children. Not only did the staff refuse to call the police when I asked them to they didn’t offer any assistance and instead tried to throw me out into the carpark with the person who had just assaulted me and was threatening to do so again. I ignored their requests for me to leave and instead took shelter and called the police myself. While I was on the phone to the police, the police asked me if the restaurant had any staff only areas with a lockable door that I could shelter in for protection as the person who assaulted me was continuing to threaten and verbally abuse me while I was myself calling for help and they were completely shocked to learn that the staff here were treating me as a perpetrator instead of a victim and were more than happy to put me and my child into another unsafe situation by removing me from the venue and out of sight of any cctv. 17 months on and I am still traumatised by not only the assault but the treatment I received from staff that night. It was very clear that staff had absolutely no training on what to do if a situation like that unfolded as they couldn’t even do something as basic as call the police and never once even asked me if I was ok, the only person I received assistance from that night was another customer. On top of that I was served an overcooked piece of chicken floating in a pile of oil instead of creamy sauce, next to no chips and no side salad in sight. Overall the entire experience was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to dine here as the food was terrible, staff were rude and they have absolutely zero cares in the world for the safety of...
Read moreif I could have given -5 stars I would have. Disgusting is all I can say, not only about the food but about the awful and rude staff at the Firle location. My husband, mum and I have been occasional customers over the years however it has progressively gotten worse, we decided to order uber eats, the total order cost $106 which was unthinkable for 2 chicken curries, a garlic bread and a chicken stir fry. we couldn't believe our eyes when we opened the bag to see oil dripping throughout the whole bag, 3 day old chicken and about 3 vegetables. the curries each costed $26 which was crazy for the portion pictured, the food was completely inedible. We immediately tried to get a refund on uber, it had said the restaurant wasn't eligible, not that it was ubers fault, they clearly just have unqualified and unskilled cooks. We called the restaurant twice and spoke to the manager, an aggressive indian woman who said they had an amazing chicken curry (funny right, you think she would know good curry) anyway she refused to give a refund, we even offered to come in to store and she said it would be remade... the exact same way, why would we want that terrible quality food remade. my mum has been a chef at the hilton for over 25 years, this looks like dog food and i wouldn't feed it to my worst enemy. The curry was covered in oil but to our humour the manager said they don't even use oil to cook, pictures don't lie. shame on you firle management, piece of advice everyone go to the munno para restaurant they are very friendly and the...
Read moreThis place doesnt deserved even 1 star. Went to this "so-called" food venue last night. I say this because they served up SOGGY OFF STRAWBERRIES and BRUISED BANANAS on pancakes. Night started fine as my partner and I walked through the door. That was until we got to the counter. Over charged at first and then it had to corrected. Then we ordered the $2 pancakes after the meal and were told that we had complimentary pancakes and if we want the strawberry and banana pancakes it would be an extra $2 each. So because we took this offer we didn't get anything complimentary. There should only be a surcharge for the added topping not be charged full price. Then the mains came out. No problems with them. They then bought out the most disguisting looking strawberries that had lost their cripsy red colour and were soggy and off, not to mention that the plate had a chip in the side of it.( Which under health laws it is against health regulations to serve anything on chip plates etc as they can't be properly cleaned) And my partner got really bruised bananas on his pancake. So I went to the counter with both to be met by an Italian man that tried to tell me that they were fresh strawberries and nothing wrong with them and that they are fine. After he agrued with me over it considering they were off he then said he will make new ones. Waited 25 min for my strawberry one and my partner waited 40 min for his. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING never never ever going to back here and don't recommend this place to...
