used to be good, but in the last 12 months it has really gone down hill. Firstly, if I ask for a wrap, I expect a wrap, not a 17 dollar burger smaller than a whopper from across the road. On the occasion I get the correct order there is always something bad about it. The chicken is either dry, or soft like it was heated in a microwave. The sauce, well there is none. I don't think I have had one thing here in the last year with more than a tablespoon of mayonnaise on it, which seems to be the only sauce that they have, as even if I order something that is advertised to have another sauce in it, it only has a miniscule amount of mayonnaise and nothing else. In fact sometimes they put no sauce, leaving me with a piece of bread filled with dry chicken and lettuce. I cant see any difference between the bondi and regular versions of wraps and burgers, they both taste the same except one has a slice of tomato and slightly more mayonnaise. The chips however, were always good, until my most recent visit. They have changed the chip box to be much smaller than before and it seems they no longer provide salt on the chips, as i was given a tiny cardboard box filled with cold chips, with no more than a pinch of salt. They also have gotten rid of coke and replaced it with Pepsi, which is not only smaller than the coke they used to have, but in my opinion, worse.

Love their chicken. Different types of basting available for your chook. Different types of family meals available and from what manager said can customise your family feeds. Only one let down and it's they insist on cutting their chickens into 8ths and noticed sometimes your missing a section of the chook, which prob is used for their sandwiches/salads??? I argued that I wanted whole chook not cut, but kept saying no, coz won't fit into their take away box. So maybe bring your own Tupperware container 😆😝 first few times they wouldn't budge on my whole chicken arguement. But after the 4th time or so they settled to cut chook into quarters. They need to provide larger boxes for people who want whole uncut chooks, next time Im bringing my own container! They Have a tarped outside table area if you want to alfresco. Can buy their sauces to take home. Usually a few minute wait to receive food at drive through or inside pick up. But...

Management and the team of this place should be very proud of themselves for bringing an excellent customer experience for myself. I have been having lunch at this Oporto regularly for the last few months, and I am always greeted well and made to feel extremely welcome. Staff have taken note to even remember my order and engage in a bit of "chit chat" when its not too busy. This makes it a more personable visit and changes what the staff do from just "Customer Service" to actual Customer Experience. The speed of service, from even before they knew my order, has been extremely quick, even during busy times Ive found. Delicious food, and cooked to just to right temperature to eat straight away!
